Northwestern? TCU? He would have chosen a purple clad team no doubt. Nice story

What about the pancakes part?

Funniest part about this photo is it became a prince album cover

"And after the game?"
“It was just like they showed on TV,” Free said. “His chef served us blueberry pancakes, for real!”

Pretty sure all of Charlie Murphy's stories were true, down to the Rick James beat downs leaving ring marks

Lots of great storytellers, but who could make up that shit?
SLAP!
Most of that skit has been confirmed as well. Apparently, Eddie Murphy only had to correct the color of the coach that Rick James ruined, and also his brand of boots.
And yeah, Prince himself confirmed the basketball story, but did not comment on the pancakes. He did, however, use a picture of Dave Chappelle dressed as Prince as the album art for Breakfast Can Wait
Near the bottom of this excerpt from his book.

OMG, I read that excerpt and near the bottom it talks about Bill Cosby's agent trying to set up Tyson with Lisa Bonet. Apparently the agent was practiced at setting up women for Bill.
Awesome
I read somewhere that Prince would've been good enough to start on the varsity at his school most years, but they had a loaded team, best in school history. Prince didn't like being relegated to a backup role.
His life showed he was definitely more than a backup.
I miss the Chappelle show.
Dave Chappelle on Dave Letterman's show. At 6:20 Letterman asks him about leaving his show.
"Technically, I never quit. I'm seven years late for work."
