Will Cleveland get it together?

Not if this guy pops off.

I've enjoyed the playoffs for the most part. I didn't get to watch those guys back in the day, but the finals this year has had plenty of good games. I was talking today at work who was talking about how much different basketball was during the Bird, Magic, Jordan days and he also said he could barely watch it now. I've been entertained this year though.... but this is also the first year I started watching any NBA basketball since the 2002-2008ish Pistons.

I don't think his complaint is that the games aren't close I think his main issue is that the level of play is bad from both teams.  The games are good (close games down to the end except game 4) but the level of play is so bad that its like watching the M00N game.  Close contest but not what most would consider an enjoyable watching experience.

I don't necessarily agree with him, though this has been some ugly basketball in the finals, but I think thats what he was getting at.

Curry makes some awful decisions sometimes.  You're up seven with three minutes left and a full shot clock.  Why are you launching an immediate three?

Is it worse than winding down the shot clock then jacking up a three, which is often the Cavaliers offense in crunch time?   Also, if anything I think Curry has been a little too passive at times (though I think he's done great work being patient in making the first pass on the pick and roll).  It's a good sign that he's gotten aggressive again, as the score line will show.

Only so much 1 guy can do ... holy hell Steph Curry just dropping bombs everywhere.

And his mom is a MILF

Those initial passes off the pick and roll don't count on the box score, but his work running the offense has to take that into account as well as the turnovers.  Takes a lot of discipline to stick to making the first pass, especially when you're the best shooter on the floor.

I don't think the Cavs will lose at home... I can see this going 7... with the Warriors winning out.

I hope they give the MVP to Iggy over Curry... he's been a rock for the Warriors the whole series while Curry just turned on this game.

It's a testament to LeBron's ability that the Cavs even won two games in this series (flip him and Curry, for example, and this is probably a pretty one-sided sweep for GSW), but the Warriors just missed a ton of shots those first three games and that allowed Cleveland to keep it close.  But when Kerr figured out he could bring in Iggy from the bench as a "6th" starter, this series was over.

The Cleveland mouth breathers already tasted success with OSU this year. I don't want them getting another taste of it (I know not all of them are, sorry Mgrowold). Put em away next game Warriors.
