OT - funny stuff

Submitted by sheepman on

Okay, about once every few months (off season) I post this to my mgoblog fam because I love to find new stuff to entertain me while I should be writing my dissertation.

What is the funniest website you read?

Here are two of my favs:

http://literallyunbelievable.org/ - I am laughing in tears right now because of this.

and

http://www.27bslash6.com/ - David would be my best friend if he didn't live in Australia

Whatcha got?

Watch the Santorum clip first. It's hilarious, and NOT political, unless you think Rick Santorum saying, "I'd borrow meat, to provide for my putty-tat" is political.

One of my favorite sketches from a show called "The Two Ronnies", this sketch is based on a long-running British game show. I find this very uplifting when the grind gets to me:

Or if you like pie fights, best pie fight scene ever...

"Romney appeals to Hispanics to return watch he left on dresser". I almost choked when I read the responses to that, how do people not realize this is satire?

Also, emails from an asshole is hilarious, there are a few old ones on there that I still can't get through because I'm laughing so hard.

The 27bslash6 guy (David Thorne) has admitted to "altering" his material. When I learned that, his schtick went from humor to total unethical asshole territory. He leads people into believing that he's describing actual events, but in reality you have no idea how much of this stuff he completely makes up.

This is what happend with the local ski shop in my town:

I wanted a tune-up for my skis and went to look at reviews for the place, and they average like 1.5 stars because his followers left a ton of phony reviews. Not funny...pretty messed up imho.
