I'm a CIS major at Ferris State, and I had to show this to a few of my professors. brings back memories of the "Google Facebook login" incident...
my favorite part:
Host: "You were using someone else's wi-fi?"
Caller : "Not Uncommon..."
Host: "Not.... Legal..."
It boggles the mind!
This is why some people shouldn't be allowed to own a computer. You could tell she didn't really understand the concept of a wireless connection.
At first I thought she was talking about a public wifi spot (like in parts of Oakland County) that is publicly available, and that she was simply experiencing connection issues. But then when it became clear that she was just mooching, the clip went to another level. Great stuff, and shows why sometimes just enough information can you make you incredibly dangerous.
Meh, she sounds like she knows more than a lot of people. That's not sarcasm, a lot of people would have no idea how to steal wi-fi if they wanted to. Sad actually. A lot of these types of things should be taught in school.
I remember leo from his days on screen savers.

I repair computers as a side job for extra cash. I could write a book with the funny requests or problems I encounter.
The other day, someone asked me to install Yahoo on her computer. She didn't understand how the internet works and had no idea that Yahoo was something you accessed.
It's usually older people that didn't grow up with the technology that have trouble with the basics.
