I like your style. If I wasn't working 2nd shift, I'd probably join you.
All that mean is you can close down your neighborhood bar tonight and not worry about waking up early
...if only tomorrow morning wouldn't be Thursday/workday...
Yeah I start at 7:30am... That doesn't mean you can't enjoy a beer or two.
... not saying I'm not, but that is more of a 'sipping thread'...Sierra Nevada IPA for what it's worth.
+1 to you, sir. I started during the soccer game with a couple of Founders IPA's, then finished up with a couple Sierra Nevada Pale Ales. Love 'em both.
Dogfish Head Namaste.
"Helles Dopplebock"
Nothing says eff it like 8% beer.
Cheers to a better Thursday
Vodka and Club Soda for me tonight. Just what I need to take the edge off after a long day of dealing with society.
Question for you: why club soda? I've always gone with tonic as the carbonated mixer of choice. I've never tried tonic.
What are the differences?
Thank you in advance.
Tonic has quinine. Which is a very polarizing flavor. I think tonic tastes like horse piss mixed with earwax, myself.
So you're saying you know what horse piss & earwax tastes like???
Just kidding, man. I guess unjust like tonic (or horse piss & ear wax). Club soda tastes bland to me.
Thanks, though.
Club soda has no calories (no sugar). Tonic is loaded with sugar. If you are one to care about that type of thing, adding tonic to your vodka probably more than doubles your calorie intake (and all of that is sugar).
Diet Dr. Pepper.
Wife is traveling on business. Crazy work day. Grilling up a nice NY strip for dinner. Grabbed me a Mirror Pond Ale that's been in the back of my beer fridge for months. Maybe some nice scotch later, because...why not?
Yeah had a top sirloin a few mins before starting the thread.
Is it really necessary to spell out the F-word in your title thread?
Stay Classy MGoBlog
Who gives a fuck?
Move over Herm, there's a new MGoBlog Grandpa..
Well quite honestly I love the word fuck. It is so versatile. After a long day at work and then dealing with some bullshit at home there was no better way to put it than "fuck it I'm going to have a few beers."
Fuck those fucking fuckers
Thank you. Is it really necessary to degrade ourselves to the level of State or ohio fans? I expect Michigan Men to be able to articulate themselves without using cheap cuss words.
Grape gatorade
Southern Comfort..because fuck it, it's Wednesday
Saved a Hopslam to ease the pain. Oranje fan.
Got off of work early to watch the WC semi and had an Occidental Kolsch and a Gigantic Ginormous Imperial Ale.
Kale-spinach-apple-pineapple smoothie.
Don't drink alcohol on weekdays. Need to wake up at 530AM :(
Have leftover Hopslam and 90 Minute IPA for the weekend.
If you made that what ratios did you use?
Premixed organic bag from Costco: 1/3 of my Blendtec jar, tamped down.
3/4 cup frozen pineapple chunks
Big Fuji apple, quartered
Several ice cubes
1 cup water
Some greek yogurt
My wife says the kale is healthier; tastes like grass clippings, even with the other stuff.
Has helped me lose about 10#, primarily cause I'm too full to eat other crap. before dinner.
It's about to get crazy up in here tonight.
I happen to have an excellent reason to drink as I turn 36 today, so I am enjoying a Guinness and some of the funfetti cake that my kids helped make for me. My daughter even said, "We couldn't find 36 candles, but you can blow out these three...", which made me feel old for a moment, but she has the family sense of humor, to be sure.
Haha. One candle for every dozen years...
At 22 years old I fear the day I'm 36. Congrats on making it and happy birthday
don't fear 36. lots of great living in your 30's. and wait until you get my age: they have to call the fire department to put the candles out.
Our family puts three candles on the cake for adult b-days to celebrate the past, present, and future. Best to you and your family.
Thanks for all you have done for the blog.
Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes both here and on other platforms today.
It does mean quite a bit to me to be part of this community, and to know that people appreciate the efforts to keep it at least semi-respectable. This is a special group indeed, and like I've told a few people, it is something I wouldn't do if I didn't care about you guys. Thanks for being part of one of the better fan sites yet conceived certainly :-)
Green Man ESB here. I'm not a huge fan.
Damn place closed at 10. 5 beers for $15 was a good deal though
What did you think about the beers? Everyone loves Green Man...but man, I just don't get it. Like every other brewery in the area is better in my opinion.
I'll join ya. Got a bottle of Gray Goose right here. It's actually crystal palace inside but nobody knows that.
We got a badass over here
Picked up some Two Hearted cans a few weeks ago. Time to crack one open.
To the poster that I jokingly accused of not having knowledge of a fisher: They totally do look like carp.
That was me, and I've been stalking you ever since, waiting for you to admit I was right!!!

Went to Wicked Weed, Wedge, LaB in Asheville this past week and Carolina Brewery in Chapel Hill. Now I am trying Outer Banks Brewery tonight. All were very good especially the pubs in Asheville and Outer Banks
I had a great basil beer in NC once
Rye IPA. Soccer is a brutal game.
Two hearted tonight to start, maybe some Summer Shandy's.
Been reading this board for a while, hope to contribute more and stay out of Bolivia.
Go Blue!
Well welcome Mac.
