rundown of Michigan's riser
OT: Friday POSBANG/open thread
I went back to Cali to my old stomping grounds, then went to Las Vegas for the birthday now i'm just relaxing till i head back home to Florida on Sunday
My workday ends in about 30 minutes or so, but it would be fair to say that I spent some of that day right here on MGoBlog. I actually thought about not coming into work today, especially after nearly slipping twice while shoveling the driveway at 6:30 AM this morning - we had quite a bit of sleet and ice in the downriver area, but then I wouldn't be able to generate the reports that no one really reads (I am that guy).
If I accomplished anything, however, it was getting a comparison of Michigan and Wisconsin stats together for tomorrow and getting all the data for my next diary - a general survey of Wolverine football freshman and their positions and geographic origins for the past 45 years. I also survived two meetings and all on a bag of Ruffles and a Vernors, so all in all, a nice, uneventful Friday.
For tomorrow, beat the Badgers! Go Blue!

1: Anyone got any good beer suggestions for tonights drinking thread? I have some Bells Best Brown but I am in the mood for something a little more adventurous.
2: Im looking for a place to move to when my lease is up. Somewhere between Ann Arbor and Detroit and close to highway access. Im going to be looking for a new job in SE MI and would like to be centrally located within an hrs drive to most places. Any suggestions on where to look?
What kind of work are you looking for?

90 min or 120 min Dogfish Head. Not my personal fav IPA, but its adventurous and lots of people think its the bomb.

I can never find 120 min because it is always sold out. Does anywhere have it right now?
We always have it in Maryland.
However, it's $9.99 a bottle. If you drive out to Rehoboth Beach to the Dogfishhead brewpub, they have it on tap for like $8. It's more like a bitter barley-wine (ABV is anywhere from 15-22%)
Stick with Hopslam, or Founder's Double Trouble if you can find it.
Im still at work; just finished dictating, need to call back a few more patients. Then off to get our Berner from dog daycare.
Finish overhauling the master bathroom.
Counter top is in after pulling the cabinets out 3" to accomodate the oversized top.
Sink holes are cut.
Walls and ceiling are painted.
Re-route the electrical from a wall mounted light to a ceiling mounted light.
Install new sinks and faucets.
Lay down some carpeting.
Then get to work installing my new HD overhead projector into the basement and begin work on an over-hauled man cave.

I'm very much enjoying my Friday. My roommate, an Indiana grad, gave me some sweet sweet schadenfreude that has held me over at work today.
State of Emergency in MA, everyone is banned from driving in 18 minutes. Drinking all the things.
And dreaming.
got a Facebook update that San Diego Brewing Co. has Alpine Beer Co's, "Bad Boy" on tap. They only brew out a couple times/year, and its super delish. Therefore i will be drinking that tonight. For now, i am selling stuff and crushing my competition.

Hope to get a lot done in the next couple hours. Don't mind that we didn't get hit with the snow on the East Coast!

She had to meet the chef and sample the food for her reception. She is out with friends, but we visited the Beer Baron earlier and put together a couple of mixed 6 packs. I think it is going to be a New Holland Dragon's Milk and a Dogfish Head Palo Santo Marron for me tonight.
May you have a strong foundation
