what a great movie
Fortunately today has been pretty relaxed.
Ahh I miss those cool 80s step-aerobics style dance moves
It was a simpler time.
Day off from my internship and no classes. Got two more rejection letters to add to a large pile in the mail for jobs. Just ripped a bong to the face and made a whiskey + coke. Fuck it, Friday funday. This weekend cannot come soon enough.
You've convinced me to go early to pick up that keg of Two Hearted Ale I ordered. Wife has 35 PhD students coming over to the house for happy hour this afternoon!
You just don't seem them any more.
I had hair back then...
EDIT: oops was supposed to be in response to denardogasm.
See you at Founders tonight...or Harmony Brewing, or GRBC, or Perrin, or The BOB's brewery....so many options in Beer City USA!!!!
Apparently "The Score" on Plainfield just relaunched with like 120 taps. I might actually go back to that place now when I am in town.
I avoid it because the manager is a troll and not very good at the managing thing... but 120 taps... sounds interesting.
that is a ton of taps!...might have to swing up to that side of town and check it out
flows Busch Light let me know when. I'm buying.
I honest God prefer Busch light to most craft beers.
Great place or greatest place to catch a VD in northern GR?
Looking forward to the Tigers taking game 1.
While we reminisce about some of the things that made the 1980s interesting, we cannot overlook Herbie Hancock:
Pretty sure I still have that VHS laying around and absolutely possitive I had that dance memorized growing up!
TGIF.....looking forward to having a couple stiff drinks, watching the Tigers and getting the tailgate gear ready for tomorrow am.
Getting some work done, and then playing basketball for about 4 hours sounds like a decent day to me.
Kid 'n Play FTW
Sitting at desk working off hangover from last night's Browns game. Your FIRST PLACE BROWNS I might add.
But...in the "only in Cleveland" fashion we lose our QB to a season-ending knee injury and have to go back to Brandon fucking Weedon again. Jesus that guy is infuriating to watch.
I'm with you! I'm excited but I also see with the upcoming schedule only two "guaranteed" wins with Weeden at the helm. Jacksonville and Jets. The rest is a doozy. Even with the Steelers sucking its still the Steelers. Go Browns!
I dunno man. I see possible wins home against the Lions, Steelers (twice) @Chiefs, home against the Ravens, Jags and @ the Jets. That would give them 10 wins and would create the need to build statues of Chud on Public Square.
Eh, not wth Weeden though. Brian Hoyer was playing very well and now he is out for the remainder of the season. That really sucks.
Sadly I do somewhat agree. Perhaps the Browns will take a chance on Freeman. He'd be an interesting pick-up and he's only 25.
What is the punchline?
Already had a uncomfortable conversation with a student and the assistant principal about not making comments about how to make bombs in class...
Just fired up the Pizza Tracker. Have enough food coming to last me the entire weekend. GF is leaving for out of town immediately after work. Time for not wearing pants and lounging in front of a TV all weekend.
Catching up on reading, and checking MGoBlog occasionally =)
So, working without pay. This better end soon or I will be out of beer money!
I met kid in play in 97 in LA.
Cool story, eh?
That is excellent.
What a weekend us M/Detroit fans have ahead of us. ALDS Game 1 tonight, Brown Jug game tomorrow followed by ALDS Game 2. Then we get to see the Lions take on a division rival on Sunday and hopefully FINALLY win in Lambeau. Should be one fine weekend.
Also have the Wings going against Carolina tonight and Boston tomorrow night.
Good call. I won't get the game on TV tonight (out of market) but tomorrow's game will be on NHLN. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day of drinking and consuming sports programming.
I live in Jacksonvile and Denard is in my apartment complex at this moment. He was here last week and my boys 8 & 10 went over and got his autograph and he was very good to them. My question is should I ask him to sign my Denard jersey or let him enjoy his time off. Im kinda in favor of letting him enjoy his time off. My wife thinks I should ask him to sign it. I have never posted here before but read this site every single day. Thanks
Politely ask him to sign it. You may never get this opportunity again. I have a picture with him from the 2010 Women's Football Academy, before he became DENARD. At subsequent academies, the line to meet him was a mile long.
