the neighnorhood "house" beer. You'll find the occasional case of Labatt's, Leinenkugel, or craft beer in a beer fridge, but everyone in the neighborhood keeps at least a 12 of Molson cold in the garage fridge. There was defection to PBR last August, but that rebellion was mercilessly quashed.
These are the thrills of life you have look forward to when you're north of 40 pal. Beer and lawnmower swapping, occasional (and normally undocumented) rumors of wife swapping.

True story. I was sipping on Molson's with an osu friend of mine. He asked for a second brew (after I had already given him one). I made him sing the chorus of The Victors after I taught it to him before I gave him the beer. Now, when he tries to get punchy about Michigan, I just remind him that he sang The Victors for a beer once.

Right now... Rootbeer. After me and my gal go see about this new Woody Allen flick, I hope to get ahold of an ice cold 12 pack of shiner bock
black and tans. I prefer a Guiness Draft or a McEwans scottish black beer and I either mix or layer with Hoegaarden. You get all of the flavor of a black beer with a clean bright finish from the white wheat Ale. On the hotter summer nights I drink Brugal Rum. Preferably the Extra Viejo but the Anejo is fine if I can't find any of the best stuff. Brugal is the best Rum on Earth, I've had them all but I could drink Brugal every day.
I just got back from a week in Mexico where I got hooked on a Cuban rum "Havanah Negro". I cant get it here so I'm sipping on the next best thing Bacardi Anejo and a splash of coke.
