So much for a 3 back punt formation ending any chance to block a punt. USM had two players able to block that kick. Yikes.

So between watching this game and drinking, I'm thinking about heading to Ruston tomorrow to watch Navy at Louisiana Tech in person. I haven't been to a college game since Baylor at Texas 2 years ago. I'm craving input.

Never seen Navy play live, but they are one of my absolute favorite teams to watch on TV.  Their game against ND last year was my favorite non-UM game of the year.  Ran for 350, threw the ball 3 times - one incomplete, one for just a couple yards, and one on the great PA fake of all time (until DRob's on Saturday) for a TD.  They're so entertaining, I think, because they don't have the athletes to dominate, so they have to have 11 men working in perfect unison.

I thought they would be a LITTLE down without Brian Kelly, but they still had players (Collaros, for one).  Is Kelly THAT GOOD, is Butch Jones completely inept, or did Cincy lose more than I thought?  Geez, this team was a Texas missing a field goal away to going to the national title game possibly last year.  I mean, it is not like Fresno State and NC State are BAD teams, but they are not great, and I would have thought that Cincy would beat them, or at least not lose by much.  Man...

In a big time SEC game the defence was the difference. After Saline scored on its opening drive, the Bedford defence shut down the Hornets. Great game for both teams. Bedford travels up 23 to meet Pioneer next Fri. for another big SEC match up.

They have a time-out left and 6 seconds on the clock.  Theyshould run a play to get the ball into the middle of the field before kicking this FG.
