It's mid-afternoon here.  Still have 3 more meetings and a daddy-daughter dance tonight.

That being said, I expect to crush some Keystone Lights later with my boy, Keith Stone.

I've always wondered about the age demographic with these drinking threads.  Mostly just curious about if there are specific preferred beverages per age .....and region.

I'll start it off:

I'm Rob, 43 and I'm in Tampa and having a couple of Shiner Bocks, a nice German influenced Texas brewed beer I discovered while stationed in Texas back in '98.

For the most part I believe it's a way to just blow off steam and let the MGo community know what you're getting sloshed on tonight. We don't work 5 days a week for nothing. If you can't get loose on a Friday when can you? On that note I hope Michigan kills State tonight. Be safe all.

Two Buck Chuck from Trader Joe's here in Denver. Now I'm no wine connoisseur (obviously) by any means but $3.29 for a decent red is cool with me.

It's such a great deal in fact, I'll do a little dance.

I failed to score this year. I have some Great Lakes Christmas Ale that need to be cleaned out tonight. Tomorrow, it's up to our house in Canada for the next week. I've got a collection of good stuff in the beer fridge there. New Year's leftovers for Super Bowl Sunday.

Like someone above, I've got Jet's too - it took 90 minutes, so after a call I managed to get some pop and a discount on top of everything too. Of course, I put the pop aside and went straight for the Boddington's. Other than that, it has been a rather uneventful Friday evening to date.

Cheers to Matt Costello, Denzel Valentine, and Travis Trice. I hope you all get metaphorically nut-punched Sunday. I'm pumped to see what our resilient guys can do against those green and white assholes.

I'm doing an unscientific comparison of two Sam Adams seasonal products: Winter Lager vs Winter White.

So far, White is winning, but I'm going to give the Lager every opportunity to change my mind.

Came home and started brewing beer, as the kegs are about to kick. Started with a Hopslam, had a homebrewed Berliner Weiss and now I'm on to a my homebrewed blueberry stout.
