Absolutely no problem, I go to a very good school close to A2 that is one of the top 10 feeder high schools to UofM. The curriculum is very difficult so gpa's are generally deflated and the University knows this. I took tough classes, 6 Ap's, and usually got A's in all my non AP's and B+/A- in my Ap's. Ended up with a 3.76 gpa but what got me in was 34 act. I worked hard in classes I knew i needed to but honestly did not do much work for the majority of my classes, in general was just responsible and made sure I would get scores that I deemed acceptable

My MGoDaughter is just finishing up 1st semester freshman year. Classes, test scores and activities are all critical. Having something unusual or unique to point to is as well. My daughter had all kinds of stuff that was unusual about her (we lived overseas sophomore and junior year), had very good grades, solid test scores and parents who are alums, and yet it still went down to the wire. So as a parent, try to stay on APs, extracurricular and prepping for the SAT. She loves Michigan. She liked Northwestern but when she got her acceptance at Michigan she decided to not apply there. Asked if she has any regrets, her answer is "absolutely none."

Nothing yet because this morning I drank a small glass of water with the juice of a lemon in it and apparently that can rip a cannonball-size hole in your stomach so I'm still recovering. May be a few days.

Blessed Salt Water from the Drowned God, so that I may see the path that will lead Harbaugh back to the Seastone Chair.

After that perhaps a Stone Go-To IPA or a Saint Archer Pale Ale to wash it down.
