Oh, you can milk just about anything with nipples.
I have nipples. Could you milk me?
They're still snakes on the plane, only they're faster.
I think I like it better without the subject line.
"Like a B-2 bomber crossed with a eagle and a Gulfstream 6. But faster."
You're on the Concorde, right? Cause if you're with Fred you must be.
Picture or I don't believe it
Ask him if his peanuts taste like crunchewy nuggets of ambrosia only heavenlier and with salty goodness? Then ask him his opinion of your bicep.
I need MOAR.
Pinky promise him that you can keep a secret and then ask him if Shallman is really really not going to be a fullback.
Seriously, ask him if he thought Rich Rodriguez was a Michigan man or just an interloper.
From Soojin:
"Surprise! Two blog posts in one week! This is a quick one. I received a great question from one of the attendees of our Preview Day last week. He mentioned that he had gotten to know and build relationships with many of our ambassadors and wondered whether he should ask them for a rec letter. While we encourage prospective students to connect with our students and alums to get to know what we're about, we don't recommend asking them to send us a note of endorsement after a few emails, phone conversations, or a chat in the Wintergarden.
The recommendation letters that are most helpful to us are the ones we ask for in the application (generally, from your supervisors) since they will have a perspective on you formed over a longer period of time through a variety of interactions.
You'll have an opportunity to demonstrate your fit through the interview. Our interviews are conducted by MBA2s and alumni who understand and love the culture of our school. The interview is the best point in the process to get the student/alumni endorsement you hoped to get."
I know you're being a smartass, but for what it's worth, get a couple of current/former bosses who really like your work to recommend you. I got great, very personal recommendations from mine and I think it helped me out.
Hey, sorry I didn't get back to this page sooner. I'll try to ping you the next time I see you post. Unfortunately, I'm busy and not on the site much anymore.
I'm on my internship now and had a great first year. Ross is essentially everything it's advertised to be by admissions. It's a very collaborative place to learn, although finance is much more competitive. They pretty much start from day one and spend most weekends in NYC until they get an internship. For what it's worth, at least five people got internships at Goldman this summer, so I assume a similar number are going to other major firms. Of the two I know personally, one had no finance background going into school, so it is an area you can move into.
Let me know if you want to talk and I'll shoot you an email.
I get all of my breaking news from MGoBlog. CNN and Fox News haven't sniffed this one out yet!
Question for Coach Jackson: It's late in the 4th quarter against OSU. 3rd down and 1.5 yards to go. We're down by 6, ball on the Buckeye 15 yard line. We need to convert. Who do you hand if off to (passing is not an option here)? Hart? Perry? Timmy B? Wheatley? Healthy Minor?
I loved me some Tony Boles carrying the rock. Smooth as silk running the ball. Damn injuries ruined what could've been a stellar UM career.
IIRC, Boles and Tripp Welbourne had their careers effectively ended by the turf in Minnesota.
id go with Vincent Smith short yardage back.
/s
The Turf Monster at the old Metrodome in Minneapolis was a disaster. Visible corners of sections coming up in spots.
Two games, two years apart -- brutal. The personalized "UTRIPPIN" license plate Welbourne had on his 300Z took on a sad meaning after that.
....that Boles, in his prime, was a more elusive version of Barry Sanders, but also faster.
Tony Boles ran digitally, like a Frogger video game. One moment he was in one lane, the next moment he was in another lane, the next moment he was in another. And he never lost speed doing it.
My alltime favorite running back at Michigan, and that's saying something.
Does Fred Jackson ever plan to share his wonderful hyperboles in some sort of compilation, like Plato's Dialogues only more Michigan?
"Fred, do you ever hang around a gymnasium?"
Have you ever seen a grown man naked?
if he has ever been to the mile high club
You're all fools missing the obvious questions. Where is he going or where is he coming from? Which potential recruit has he been talking to or looking at?
~Herm
Ask him if he's met Herm yet. Because he needs to.
Ask him to evaluate things....anything really. I just want to know if he views everyday things like he does running backs.
flight perchance going to Virginia? maybe the Hermitage area?
