If your a recruiting fanatic like I am then the news of all the four star commits today is the best news you have received in a long while, especially with Michigan not finishing the 2012 recruiting class as strong as we would have liked! For me this is definitely a moment of celebration and my wife and I are sipping some thug passion (Hennessy mixed with Alize') and feeling really good about a victory over Ohio this evening. It is a great time to be a Michigan fan. With that said, what are you drinking? Go Blue!

OT: Four 4 star commits today! What are you drinking?
Belgian White Homebrew!
Jameson and Ginger, with some shots of 'Animal Hawks' mixed in
Lagunitas A Lil Sumpin Sumpin Ale and some bourbon on the side, and anxiously awaiting the game tonight.
to try it.
Or Buckeye tears. They're both tasting pretty bitter right now.
FOUR Loko of course
lol nah, that stuff is horrible. I'll stick to my Pepsi Max.
Home now drinking trusty old Bud Light, a dear friend throughout the years.
Captain Morgan and diet coke.
Oops!
need all my focus and eyesight for the big win here in exactly 1 hour. After the big win then I will drink some Crown Royal
Founders All Day IPA. Pregaming for the Ohio basketball game, then heading to the Carolina Brewery to drink Flagship IPA and watch the game. GO BLUE!
Raging Bitch.
Hometown brew Yuengling while watching the game for me.
I'm very excited about tonight's game, and I feel a little magic in the air tonight, even the talking heads feel something. Anyone else have this same impression? #GOBLUE
Alpine Spring
Champagne
Just returned from dinner out at Two Amys in DC where I was pleasantly surprised to discover they had Green Flash Imperial IPA on tap. I'm a big fan of double IPAs and had recently heard about this one (perhaps on MGB).
Green Flash is a very good beer. I've been spoiled recently by Hopslam. Green Flash << Hopslam, but it is definitely worth trying if you have the chance.
Speaking of Hopslam, I still have a couple of six packs left, so I'm going to pack 2-3 bottles along with the last of my Founders Breakfast Stout as I head over to a fellow grad's house to watch the game against Ohio.
Go Blue!
3 Floyds Zombie Dust. The stuff is the nectar of the gods.
never had heard of this drink you speak of but the name alone has me drawn in and wanting to try one. Is it a certain state or are they sold all over?
It's a 6.2% american pale ale made with Citra hops. 3 Floyds is brewed in Indiana and is pretty regional. This one is really rare and they only brew it when the hops become available. If you happen to be lucky enough to get your hands on it, cherish it. It wasn't even on shelves at my liquor store; you had to ask the manager to go in back and grab a 6 pack. 3 Floyds has a pretty strong presence in Chicago, but this beer was a bitch to find. Kind of along the line of Hopslam in terms of people seeking it out.
Only the finest for Hockey Pregames
Just wondering if Alex Kozan has gotten back from his marathon cooking session in Walter White's RV......poor dude might not get a slot in this class OR the next one after today.....
Changing it up tonight...
Tears of Unfathomable Sparty Recruiting Sadness.
Trying their Ruthless Rye IPA tonight.
Not drinking, working a double shift. Need a link to watch the game.
Bought some Founders Imperial Stout and Breakfast Stout as well as some Hopslam. I have not chosen yet but there's really no screwing this up.
8th St Ale
On the rocks....
Your first post in 2 1/2 years is a picture in a drinking thread? I like the cut of your jib, man.
Haven't heard of someone sipping Hennessy and Alize outside of the projects. Labatt Blue for me... cheap and available. Gotta save for the more important part of the celebration... for that I need some white owls.
Knob creek
Breaking out the founders better half to celebrate this day. Old ale brewed with molasses and age in maple syrup bourbon barrels
Bought a 12 pack of Stella. I hit up their offer for a free engraved chalice.
Engraving in dutch: "Chez moi, c'est près de ma Stella "
Love me some IPA's
Founder's Dirty Bastard.
Going to Duffys in Chi-Town after the game. Plan on wearing my M jersey since it's a Michigan bar. Of course after a big win.
Conway's Irish Ale
Chilling on Higgins Lake ice fishing in the shanty. Ice cold Hopslams are flowing. Go Blue! Beat Ohio!
Just went to my local specs and I wanted to get something for the game. It couldn't be red and I really wanted a canadian beer. The canadian beer selection is texas is very slim but I found La Bach (spel?) because it's canadian and it says blue on.....I am satisfied.
Edit: LaBatt Blue...epic fail on my part lol
I will try that, thanks.
Some hopslam. I have been drinking it slowly so I can save it for special occasions like this!
Grand Marnier. I might switch to some Jameison's later.
Ah Obsidian Stout, I wish I could get some of that here in Georgia. I miss living in the Pacific Northwest.
Dos Equis. Great Day Hoke and Co.
Returning to a college fave - Killian's Irish Red. Good drink to top off a great day.
The one and only from glass lined tanks of Old Latrobe...
I had a couple glasses of cabernet and a two hearted ale. I am trying to cut back on my drinking but days like this make it tough. If we beat Ohio I'm grabbing the whiskey and I will see you guys on Tuesday.
I'm drinking water!!!
My favorite nonseasonal lately...
I am drinking Bell's Amber. I only drink Michigan brewed beverages when we play Dayton Tech.
Of lagavulin. Neat.
I am impressed by the amount of Craft Beer drinkers here! I am drinking a Homebrewed Session Wheat IPA (All Citra Hops). Go Blue
Being a longtime reader, but only recently a poster, I love seeing first posts in the drinking threads.
Thier basic IPA -- its no Two Hearted, but hearty nonetheless.
ALOT OF ALCOHOL
Abita's Jockamo. It is my go to IPA
Being a long time drinker, I love seeing beer pics in the drinking threads.
