have you tried the Beer depot at the corner of East William and Main? You could also try Hillers and Busches. Your last resort maybe Whole Foods on Eisenhower.

I will definitely check with beer depot and whole foods. Hillers, Buschs, and Plum Market have awesome beer selections, but neither of these beers unfortunately. I think KBS and Nemesis were both small batches, so they might be all drank up now.

Have you tried the Main Street Party Shoppe? I know they had the KBS in the past, and they usually have a large selection of beers.

I know there's a store about 20 minutes north of Ann Arbor in Canton that has a TON of beers from all over the world. Also, if you tell them you want a specific beer, they will order it for you and let you know when it comes in. I can't remember the name of it though. Possibly Crown Liquor? Can anyone confirm?

give them the Nemesis. At 12.4% alcohol (IIRC), you may have a shot to score.

Agree on Main Street Party Shoppe... fine selection there.
But my favorite (and better prices, too) is a place on S. State, just south of I-94 in a little strip mall with Mark's Midtown Coney Island. Sorry I don't know the name of the place, even though I go there frequently! Huge selection, organized by state/country it came from. Give it a shot.

Awesome, thanks. The way you turn in to the place off State... you kinda just whirl in there into a parking spot, so I've never really noticed what their sign says.
They are the only place in town I've ever been able to find Paulaner Oktoberfest, my fave of the O'fest beers.

Nice, I might have to try Paulaner Oktoberfest. I didn't like Bells or Sam Adams Oktoberfests this year.

Everybody's got their version of Oktoberfest. I like the Sam Adams product on its own... it just doesn't taste much like a true Oktoberfest beer to me. Having been to O'fest in Munich, I'm picky. Paulaner is my fave but Hacker Pschorr is good, too. Point being, when you buy those, you're drinking the very thing they serve at the biggest party in the world.

KBS will be on shelves in march and I would be surprised as hell to see any Nemisis around in stores, considering how little of it Founders brews every year.

Nemesis was released in September and you have to be quick on the ball to get it, or know the right people. Most stores get a couple cases each at most and even then a good amound of inventory is snatched up by employees first.

They are both very hard to find to begin with. KBS is a march brew, after April, you would be pretty darn lucky to find a 4 pack anywhere. Even in those places listed, normally they set them aside for regular customers. Nemesis is random and very limited upon release.
Basically, with these two brews, you need to develop a relationship with the beer stores to get them.

Another place to try is Super Liqour IV. It's on State Street just south of 94, pretty big selection of microbrews and craftbrews. Good prices too.
But really Beer Depot is the place. They can sometimes put in orders if the beer is still being produced.

There is a place at Packard and Eisenhower, but the name escapes me right now. They have a pretty large selection of beer, and a decent to deli to boot. I'd recommend checking in there.
