OT: Former IU BB Player, Neil Reed, Dead at 36
Very sad to hear someone so young passing of a heart attack. Perhaps Reed will be best known for accusing Bobby Knight of choking him.

Actually, it was the press that got into the "Bobby Knight choked Neil Reed" story. Reed seemed embarrassed by all of the attention, and never exploited it. If you go to the story written by Bruce Feldman, with whom Reed worked as an intern, you will read that Reed never brought the subject up.

I really think the obituary posts should be reserved for people with ties to UMich.
Sad to see a young guy pass away too soon. He's only a handful of years older than me, and to pass away so suddenly is incredibly depressing. The best to his family.
