It seems like Jacob Pullen has turned into Braylon on his Twitter

EDIT: I went from good to funny to sad in about 10 seconds. I couldn't make up my mind.

Pullen is still holding a grudge against Weber because he did not recruit him. Time to move on man.

Well seeing how Weber loves styling the school colors on the sidelines a-la Bruce Pearl it looks like he's gonna have to find one of these:

Compared to Frank Martin, Bruce Weber is a care bear on the sidelines. But good god I cannot imagine having to listen to that raspy voice all day every day.
Solid hire IMO. Bruce got a raw deal at Illinois, and replacing Martin with Weber isn't bad.
He got tossed under the bus mid-season and it was rumored he was gone (they were doing decently at that point). After that the team started sucking.
Seems like Illinois AD wanted him gone, and were part of the reason the team was so miserable this year. We've all seen it's hard to succeed when your Coach and Athletic department are pulling opposite ways.
Agree to disagree. Weber is a solid guy, and is a solid coach. I think K-State (mediocre program) did very well to land Weber.
I think Groce is going to recruit the hell out of chicago and lead the illini back to glory
for Doug Gottlieb's shameless self promotion campaign for this job. That would have been a bigger nightmare than his 4-7 p.m. radio show.
Re. Weber getting the job; reduce, reuse, recycle...
Wow. I wasn't aware of Gottlieb's latest idiocy until you mentioned it. Here's a link to a story about it:
I love the comment at the above link where the guy says he's never done television work before but wants Gottlieb's ESPN job if he leaves.
