My wife smokes and I really wish she would quit already. I don't want kids, but am willing to give her one (and only one), but she needs to quit smoking forever and not just during pregnancy. Thus far she has not quit.

My point: cancer scares me and should scare the wife.

Wow.  Best of luck to him.  He always seemed like a class act both on and off the field.

If nothing else, I'll always respect him for having enough of a sense of humor to do that ESPN commercial in which he's waiting to go through the metal detector while standing in line behind Adam Vinatieri, who, one-by-one, has to take off all his SB rings that keep setting it off.  Classic.

Good luck and best wishes Jim from one Cancer survivor to another.

How ironic is it that my favorite QB as a kid growing up was Fran Tarkenton and my favorite QB as an adult was Jim Kelly?  Between the two of them they have lost 7 Super Bowls and won none.

I guess the fact that I grew up a Lions fan and am now a Browns season ticket holder explains everything.

The Bills were running a quick tempo offense way before it became popular today. Kelly called all the plays. In fact, it was called the K-Gun.
