As of right now no one is being charged with anything much less a jail sentence. The following comes from: http://www.kansan.com/news/2009/sep/23/police_escort_basketball_and_foo… "KU Public Safety Capt. Schuyler Bailey said campus police, which has jurisdiction on campus, would not be investigating the incident because no victim had come forward to file a report. “Until someone comes forward, we don’t have a crime,” Bailey said. Bailey said if a victim in the incident chose to report a crime, campus police would investigate but that there were no plans to investigate currently."

In the "old days," Taylor would have said he "slipped in the parking lot," and nothing would have come of it. Now, though, every time an athlete gets into a "boys will be boys" fight, it is national news. I think I liked the old way better.
