OT; Florida OL blocking.. each other?

Submitted by MGoManBall on

As the title says, against Georgia Southern this past weekend, the Florida offensive linemen apparently are struggling to understand their assignments.

Michigan's coaches have said that targeting has been part of the problem for the offensive line this year and I guess I'm just glad it's not this bad.

Pretty funny, actually.

Annnnnd, roll tape!

The whole play:

Rather, it is one of Georgia Southern's safeties. Oddly enough, this play resulted in a first down, something of a rarity for Florida of late. Still pretty funny to have linemen on the same team block each other AND some form of planking on the same play. Perhaps it is part of Muschamp's grand plan to keep the line unbalanced (and opponents off their guard) by making the line look unbalanced?

Funk, Borges, aren't nearly as the doom and gloom group in here ehink they are. Funny though,  the guy gets the first and goal. When we miss a block it goes for minus five yards. Hell with our luck the refs would have called one of them for holding.

1) 2 Florida players block each other, 2) Shooter from the grassy knoll takes out another player, 3) Camera man taken out by running back and 4) top of the shot (found it on another clip) The Field Judge gets hit and it looks like he takes a foot to the face.......
