OT: FIU Wittels Hitting Streak Over
The FIU ShortStop who was accused of rap during the off season went 0-4 after a grounding into a fielders choice in the 8th inning. Wittels was 2 games shy of breaking Robin Ventures 57 game hitting streak.

He is charged in another country and currently awaiting trial. Can you imagine what would happen here if one of our coaches allowed an accused rapist awaiting trial to play?
If he's found innocent then Karma isn't the bitch. The layoff between seasons was. It was nice to see him bash himself for his selfishness during the game. He got hit in the hand by a pitch and pretended it didn't hit him so he could try to keep the streak going. Can you say Me, Myself, and I.
