NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I was walking up to the dude when I first noticed it. I looked up at the sky, and then me and this asian dude shared a look of complete disgust and depression followed by us both shaking our heads and walking our seperate directions.

It's wayyyyyy too early for this.

If you're excited about snow, you must rent?

Oh how I love sitting on my couch, sipping hot chocolate, and watching my landlord clear the driveway.

My favorite part of the first snow of the season was walking by all the freshmen who were super excited and taking pictures of the snow falling. They have no idea what they are in for.

There was a kid in our dorm who was from Puerto Rico.  First time it hit like 53 degrees he pulled up his windbreakers to his chin (in October or whatever) and said "dudes, you cannot tell me it gets colder than this!"....we just all chuckled as we were still in our short sleeve shirts, or a sweatshirt.

By November he had one of those old Wayne Fontes Parkas.

I hope for your sake in Michigan that most of the leaves are off the trees by now.  We got our first snow of the year a couple of weeks ago in the northeast.  The weight of the snow combined with the weight of the leaves caused a lot of branches to fall.  My buddy in Western Mass was without power for 6 days.

Some people say he's pissed that he didn't play against LSU because his ACL is healing quickly. That's all I've seen.

If that's the reason, Dee isn't very smart.

EDIT: Now people are saying he got into a fight with one of the coaches about something and was kicked off the team.

Somehow, I haven't looked out my office window in Strong Hall this afternoon.  It's good to be reminded that no matter how frustrated I get at my computer, there is always beer...  I mean snow!

I just moved back to Ann Arbor after living in Arizona and hadn't seen snow in 5 years (including countless trips back to Michigan and other snow bound states in that time span).  Needless to say, as soon as it started snowing I dropped what I was doing at work and ran outside to frolic.  I give my new found fascination with snow 2 weeks until I relearn to hate the stuff...

Nothing was worse than the day I went to the Dude in 2008 in flip flops and shorts when it was 70 degrees out. Upon leaving early the next morning there was 4-5" of snow on the ground. I'll never be fooled again, Mother Nature. Never again.

i live near Marquette (Negaunee) and we got 12 inches of wet snow with 45 mph winds all yesterday. that was our first snow. Ann Arbor would shut down if that happened
