OT First official day for high school football

Today is the first official day for Michigan High School. Starting out with conditioning for 3 days in helmets, shirts and shorts. Im so glad that it isnt 150 degrees out like it has been every year. Anyways, good luck to all the coaches and teams this year. Good luck to the present and future Wolverine commitments, Go Blue!

Another year and another new coach, so we're probably looking at yet another very dissapointing season. They'll eventually get it together though. Every 10 years or so, Huron puts together a heck of year. Maybe they're due.

the last two weeks of August was always the hottest time of the year. What ever happened to those 90+ degree August days. Today's kids sure have it easy.

At this moment my 14 yo son is in the middle of his first 2-a-day ever. I believe he is running his ass off in the pouring rain as we speak. Oh, to be young again and not have to live off ibuprofen!

My 14 y/o son also "enjoyed" his first 2-a-day practice today. When my oldest boy was a freshman, it was in the 90s for most of camp. The kids are having it "easy" this year!

The ok red will be one of the toughest confrences in the state. If not he toughest. Teams like Grandville Rockford grand haven are on the rise. Going to be one hell of a confrence to watch.
