Uh, shouldn't this be listed as OT?

OT: First Day of College Football Open Thread
I can change it. I couldn't remember last year what we did for game threads. Seems like there were so many of them though, I should be able to remember it. FA? Geaux?
I don't think it needed changing. How can college football be off-topic?
When the Baptists and Presbyterians meet up, you can throw the records out the window...
Ive got USC (-21), Minnesota (-1), Marshall (+28.5) and Pitt straight up in a 4 team parlay. What do people think?
Nice little 5 dollar bet - pays out 15-1.
I think USC is going to struggle more than people think and will try to hold off the wolves to keep people healthy and I think OSU is going to try and murder Marshall--"unleashing" the new and improved Terrelle Pryor.
ehh i just thought 21 was a pretty low line for a power like USC and Tressell doesnt really score more than he has to.
Besides theyve got MIami next week, theyll likely not unleash TP until then
Off topic from this game (it is already 21-0 Wake for those not watching...so don't turn it on), but does anyone else think USC is going to get a challenge from Hawaii tonight? Kiffy's first game, away, and while not a June Jones coached team, not the worst WAC team either.
Then again, Hawaii really isn't a June Jones coached team anymore and lacks the offensive power it used to have. Sadly, in my opinion.
FOOTBAW! Bring it on!
Prepare to be "blown away" all season
Glad to have it back
Ill let this guy show my excitement for it just replace hedonism with college football
Is that Ron Zook?
HELL YES! i am so glad its football season. I have been dying with nothing but a 12 game back baseball team (Tigers). What is everyone drinking tonight to celebrate football season's return? I have some ice cold Summer Shandy.
I agree with everything you say here other than the beer selection. That shit is terrible.
And just tuned in for the OSU Marshall game, first commercial? You guessed it! Velveeta and Ro-tel! It's been so long.
Edit: Someone already mentioned it....so, in order to make this worthwhile, I'll give a game perdiction: OSU 42 Marshall 10
Jesus, I just turned on BTN and there was this intro rock song themed on the nuts...it was f*cking ridiculous.
Anyone know anything about that?
Man, you beat me to it.
Holy Jesus that song they played at the beginning of the OSU game was terrrrrible.
Marshall's coach is really named Doc Holliday?
what a great start by marshall...
IU had nice kick off return to the 40 or so. Fired up for the Hoosiers a bit here.
The Under Armour Gamecocks (CLICK CLACK OL BAW COACH!) might have a challenge or two in this game. I forgot Norwood graduated.
make me want to vomit. That is all.
Good God, pick a different word.
"Ohio state, obviously a lot of rabid... intelligent fans..."
Can someone link me a livestream to the OSU game? Stuck at work and the link at ATDHE is broken/needs a password.
SMU's defense looks good. Or the Gamecocks look bad.
Good stuff. We fired up at the JCB and had several posts today including the first officially Booked picks of the season. If you need shit to read, I'd be obliged if you checked it out
Otherwise, enjoy the night. Let's have some fun in this thread.
Sadly, Marshall has already crapped down one leg. They'll probably crap down the other one before this first quarter is over.
That's what I've been watching. Good quality.
is former UCONN OC. First series ended in INT--good sign.
Does anyone know of a live stream?
No
Saine TD...man this is gonna be a long game ugh
covering the 28.5 points, yeah you probably will not be winning that bet.
There we go Marshall.
Now lets not go 3 and out!
for you.
Way to go
Wow, swaths of empty seats in Bloomington, shocker!
OSU's brass section was seriously off-key on that little post-field-goal miss.
so essentially their whole band right? I think they only have brass (plus drums)
What a balloon from Pryor.
A Big Ten Network show hosted by Keith Jackson? I'm in!
please post a link to Pitt/Utah when the game starts...
These Marshall receivers can't catch ANYthing. That's like, 6 dropped passes in a row.
10 play, 85yd touchdown drive by south carolina, 7-0
By Garcia of USC (no, not that USC).
Minnesota is going to be TERRIBLE this year.
No kidding.
they look like dog shit...
has like 60lbs/average on their oline compared to the Mid tenn D-line... with that much muscle they should be running the ball a LOT better than they are
And we don't play them. Shit.
WF is killing Pres. Ball St. sucks.
HELL YEAH MARSHALL!!!!!!!!
WE ARE
and 6 points for Marshall.
It was a field goal, so I'm still going to claim first.
Is it possible to neg yourself?
Blocked FG TD for the herd. Glorious.
Marshall scores!!! Blocked fg return... c'mon Herd!
nice fg attempt!!!!
WOOOOOOO BAD SPECIAL TEAMS!!!!
absolutely suck. The one just had an orgasm about a "fake punt" that was a rugby kick
Making those with money on the game everywhere happier. Wonder if the 2nd string O-line will come out again.
got beat for that blocked FG attempt. He was blown back 3 yards
Marshall's lack of family values caught him off guard.
3.59 GPA in "Community Service and Hospital Visits". A true tOSU academic.
Pryor's first instinct is to throw?.......riiiiight
First instinct is to OVERthrow. Fixed it for them.
I'm really scared for our secondary after watching that deep ball by Pryor.
He sucks, nothing to worry about.
Way to jinx that, announcers. TD OSU
No worries, James Rogers would have intercepted that.
"I've seen a lot of Heisman Candidates make the throw!"
Did you see how open he was?
I've seen a lot of high school kids make that throw too
Holy crap, a Marshall receiver didn't drop a ball.
Tied 7-7 at halftime. Only good game of the night?
But the game on ESPN (S. Carolina vs. Southern Miss) Is shaping up to be a pretty good game thus far. 7-3 second quarter with SCar driving.
I'm flipping between that and Rotel/Velveeta. The Minnesota game thus far is awful
blindside hit for the sack
but then the D got unsportsmanlike conduct. CMON MAN!
And he should have just thrown a pick, but the wide out made a good play to break up the INT
What did he do after the sack to get that penalty? I didn't see it.
it was on #18, must have been away from the play
...that TP doesn't seem to have made that gigantic leap forward that Tressel has been talking about all off-season.
Seems like more of the same to me, he's hit a couple open receivers but is still struggling with his accuracy and has questionably lofted a couple downfield.
all the "hype" and "progress" of pryor? or the fact that OSU can win their games with him only throwing like 10 times per game?
Wow. Marshall is a wee bit undisciplined.
OSU's offense doesn't quite look like a #2 team in the country to me.
and Tressel will be upset if they give up more than 10 on the night, and they're most of the way there
Ehm, really?
They've put up 35 in the first half.
Yes it's Marshall, but, it's also 35. In the first half.
I have to agree...yes, it's tOSU, but the haters here are getting pretty out of hand. Pryor has looked pretty good to me, and, they are on pace to put up 70! Let's just say they seem to be shaping up to be a most formidable opponent. There has been no evidence thus far to the contrary.
That being said, I hate them and they still suck, now and forever.
he hasn't looked "good/great" - he's made horrible reads, he's refused to put his head down for 3 yds and instead danced for -1, he made an awful throw near the endzone deep after fumbling a hike that would be picked 9 times out of 10, he's underthrown, etc etc. frankly i'd be pissed if forcier looked like this against marshall. his one big move was a 65 yd throw in which the marshall corner got flat out embarrassed with a zag to the sideline. he does not look like a heisman candidate... doesn't even look like mccoy or stafford pre-NFL at this point
the same game as me. Pryor is good at hitting wide open guys. To me that is more on Marshall's secondary being slow and terrible than Pryor being awesome. He did have that nice long bomb, but his throwing motion is horrid and for every nice play he seems to have a terrible throw.
The TV guys are definitely all over his jock. He underthrows a short toss into the endzone, forcing the WR to make a difficult adjustment and the idiot color guy talks about him "squeezing it in there." Clearly the script for tonight was to talk him up.
How did Towson score on IU AGAIN???
Watching the Towson QB waltz through their defense earlier made me excited to see Denard do the same
RALLY TIME!!!!
Rutgers only up 3-0 on 1AA team. Ball State STILL tied with 1AA team. Tulane also tied with 1AA team.
Pitt vs Utah has started for those who have Verses.
Might be the best game of the night.
is now 17-3 so yeah... still looking for a good game
Towson's QB is looking like Armanti Edwards.
I see Pryor still gets nervous feet when the other team is blitzing.
Anyone have a stream for Pitt/Utah?
Utah fumble?
"What kind of speed do they got?!?!"
BTN announcers are awful.
Wow this announcer loves the phrase, "with a chance."
Ugh. I'm watching this Pitt-Utah game.... Does anyone else find watching CFB on Versus as painful as I do? (Or anything on Versus for that matter.)
(Also got Marshall-OSU going on the laptop, kind of watching both.)
I agree, they should stick to cycling, it is the only thing they do well.
Pitt FG no good
0-0
I'm actually listening on an internet stream (yeah, it's old fashioned but I don't have cable)
40 blue hairs just told you to get the hell off their lawn with that newfangled laptop with no wired connections
This announcer is terrible. Every time a player is footsteps from the endzone, he yells, "HE'S GOT A CHANCE!!!!!"
is starting to turn it on against Minnesota. Gophers can't hit a FG. 14-7, MTSU driving.
Ohio State is scary good.
And, really, the overabundance of Seven Nation Army in this game, in an ideal world, would destroy any chance of hearing that blared in Michigan Stadium this season.
Really? I'm actually not that impressed with them. Marshall has been shooting itself in the foot at every turn. Plus Marshall has been able to run on them and Pryor still looks like the same old guy we've seen the last 2 years.
with 36 seconds left in the half, MTSU 14, Minnesota 14
Wow, MTSU pulls even.
14 all Mid Tenn vs. Minny
On ESPN U
Anyone have a stream for this?
http://atdhe.net/23453/watch-minnesota-vs-middle-tennessee
An ad popped up but I have a bunch of Firefox Ad blockers so I didn't see anything. The feed is def ESPNU though...
Edit: The ads pop up so often, I'll try to find another feed
Thanks. Quality looks pretty good on this too.
I just saw a Pitt commercial where they ended it by saying, "Hail to Pitt!"
WTF!?!
I know Marshall sucks, but OSU's defense is all over the place. Ugh.
A lot of Marshall's recievers have been open if they could catch/if their QB could hit them. They're all over the place, but most of these incompletions wouldn't have to be. They're there to make the hit. They're NOT there to break up the pass.
OSU is playing a relatively vanilla zone defense. Marshall's receivers are doing a good job of finding holes, but there is zero extra room.
they're also playing a mix of their 2s and 3s at times. they put in their 2nd offensive line up 14-0 so i would presume these aren't their playmakers
So if MTSU ends up beating Minny, is that considered an upset?
Not sure, but with MTSU's QB from last year suspended I would say so...slightly.
I just want to say that the comments in this thread are making my night. That is all.
Also, I can't watch the game, but Jacory Harris and Miami (YTM) seem to be one-upping Pryor and the Buckeyes tonight. Gosh I hope Miami wins next week.
Also, Harris is much more stylish than Pryor. This will undoubtedly get in Pryor's head before the game and psych him out.
Lou Holtz just said something I didn't understand. I'm gonna need to go back and re-watch his analysis with my Donald Duck translator app.
Is there a law that prevents people from drinking alcohol in a TV commercial? I've noticed that in all beer commercials (as well as these Buffalo Wild Wings ads), you never actually see anyone drink. They'll hold up the glass, toast, whatever, but they never, ever drink it.
I think it is illegal in the US. Edit: In my quest to verify my response via Wikipedia or Yahoo! Answers, I found out why I don't live in Utah.
"You can't drink beer on TV!"
"Oh, we're gonna get in trouble."
back in my radio career it was illegal to do so (and that was radio)... obviously not illegal on sitcom/programming given Colbert's affinity for Bud Light Lime but there are definitely odd rules (that may or may not be followed by on-air talent in Lansing 3-4 years ago)
I can't believe that Brian Johnson is a QB coach for Utah. He is a 23 year old full time assistant coach.
Well it is Utah. He was likely married by age 16 and already has 6 kids.
The BW3 ads are supposed to be funny, but they're mostly scary. They apparently are involved in a far-reaching conspiracy to keep customers trapped in their restaurants through the use of deception and fear.
First they bought football refs, then basketball players, and now weathermen? Where does it end?
I don't trust any company that is based out of Columbus, which is why I don't go to BW3 anymore.
I hate those ads. Apparently everybody's at BW3's is the worst kind of casual sports fan because they want nothing but overtime and more highlights. It's like they are all SportsCenter anchors.
Utah ties Pitt. PAC 1X is better than the Big East. In other news, so are most high school all-star teams.
I can't take anymore of the T. Pryor lovefest.
12:44 left in the 3rd quarter
MTSU 17-14 Minnesota
Got to admit, pulling for the upset here
Who's favored? Seriously? Duck Dodger, or whoever the MTSU QB is, discovered his inner Doc Holiday and isn't playing.
Middle Tenn State goes up 17-14 on Minny. Speechless.
Pitt has some slow safeties.
I'm watching this Miami and Florida A&M game. Jacory Harris looks scary good: 13-16, 3tds. Miami's receiving core is filthy. They really could beat TUOS next weekend.
Tyler Moeller fulfills the proud OSU tradition of "Guy who did nothing for four years and then morphs into a manbearfreak as a 5th-year senior."
Please let the reason for the breakout be, "Marshall."
*
... and big things were expected from him that year... but he ended up out for the year with a fractured skull and brain trauma from an assault.
It's kind of astonishing that he's even back on the field.
apparently Marshall has a guy who caught Jackrabbits with Odoms in Pahokee. How did we miss recruting this potential slot ninja!?!?
In more somber news, the Microsoft SCCM thread has died a sad, bitter death.
LOL that's funny!! haha!
I love all you guys.
Also I'm glad it's football season again.
Also I'm drunkk.
Minnesota had two guys in prime position to pin a punt on the one-yard line, and they both whiffed.
this pitt- utah game is pretty good. Eventually the Pitt coach is going to realize that Jonathan Baldwin exists and they should get the ball to him.
Utah throws an interception in the end-zone, game has been full of turnovers so far. Still 7-14
Anyone else a masochist and watching the Minn/MTSU game? If Minn's coach would let his QB call audibles they'd probably have 6 TD's by now but they keep running into 8 and 9 man fronts. Reminds me a bit of pre-RR Michigan.
Looks like jmblue also likes to suffer.
In its ugly way, this game is strangely compelling.
If Minny really wears them out (or keeps passing it) they'll get the W, but MTSU is in it to win it.
Is this a critical season for Brewster? It's his fourth year and they clearly are not at their old Glen Mason level. Mason would go 3-5 in the league every year, but he'd clean up on teams like this.
Did anyone just catch the opening of Versus half time show?
Seems like the telepromter was moving a little to slow, as the host stared at the camera and left a 2 second pause between each word.
"Welcome to.....the versus......halftime......report......we are......enjoying....."
That was really bizarre.
Good thing they didn't insert any question marks.
I'm Ron Burgundy?
Just a second. How the shit is a Big 10 team--I'm counting Minnesota here--playing an away game against Middle Tennessee State? Don't they have a new stadium?
I was wondering the same thing, kind of strange to open on the road against such a team.
On a side note, when was the last time we opened on the road? I can remember some early 90s ND games, but not much else.
I think '98 ND was the last time. We had an awful record in openers in South Bend and we've learned our lesson.
Another weird one: Wisconsin seems to play UNLV every year. Why?
ugh, I'd blanked that horror show from my memory
Bielema has a mistress in LV?
Apparantly they have some uber-rich alumn who lives out there and has been trying to turn UNLV into a real football team/is wasting gobs of money to get to watch the occasional home game without using his private jet.
the Minnesota state fair is going on this weekend, and they need the stadium parking for that, so they couldnt host a football game.
seriously, that's what the announcers said earlier
We need to get that soundbite in case we ever need recruiting ammunition against Minnesota. Talk about small-time. Your program gets kicked out of its stadium for the state fair?
It's not like they play in a stadium that opened 1 year ago, specifically built so they didn't have to deal with splitting time with other teams/events...
I think my favorite game tonight is Indiana...granted they're playing Townson but I really didn't think Indiana could put up 48 on anyone, much less half way through the third. One year to go sparty, and the hoosiers are learning how to play...
my boss (Hoosier alum) swears that they are going to beat UM this year. Mark Munch Bishop is also on record that IU will beat UM.
But I'm not going to take much from a beat down of Townson.
Look out, Minnesota is driving! I wish they were on Michigan's schedule.
Edit: Minn 24 - MTSU 17
Starting to take over. It looks like MTS is wearing down.
or is this Versus channel in a weird form of HD where it seems like everything is at 1.25 speed?
It's BigEast speed...we're not used to it being BigTen fans (yea it looks strange now that you mention it)*
(huge block by Pitt!)
*No predictive value in relation to intoxication
Something's definitely off. When the referee signalled a false start, his hands were almost a blur.
Utah's special teams have been pretty abysmal here, a muffed punt set up the first Pitt touchdown, now they get a punt blocked and Pitt gets the ball inside their 10.
credit to Utah student section. bringing it strong.
As much as I hate to say it, no alcohol makes chicks hotter. I had an LDS friend for a couple years. His eventual wife's friends were just ridiculous.
Minnesota escapes. Go Hawaii!
their age old tradition of having a crappy team but a couple of suprisingly awesome RB's that save the day with ground churning, pile splitting runs.
This South Carolina/Southen Miss game just needs to end. It's been over for a long time and I want to get to the USC game.
LOL shit jwoww just went medieval on sammi!!
EDIT: sry yall wrong message board...
Kiffin said that he made those Tenneessee violations on purpose to call attention to the program??? What a tool. I hope someone spikes him on purpose this year.
I thought RR was waiting til the game to announce the starter but Rece Davis just said Denard will start. Am I missing something or is this just more of ESPN being ESPN.
Christ, the USC band came along. Maybe I'll just mute the game. Or drink a lot more.
drinking more already...
"The men of Troy are back"
Uhhh...one play against Hawaii does not mean they are back.
And they miss the extra point trying to be Kiffy-cute. Definitely back.
USC. One possesion. One touchdown. Hawaii can't tackle worth a crap.
You know I'm not sure but in that commercial it looked like Michael Jordan had a Hitler mustache. Really?
pitt is trying to lose
fwiw, and within restraint, Utah has an attractive water girl
Not within restraint, BAN HIM MODS!
That loss hurt soooooo bad. We were #2 preseason. They were like #20. Went to that game feeling so confident. They rolled us in the 2nd half. Still hurts. Loudest stadium I have ever been in.
I don't think we were #2. I know OSU was the preseason #1 that year. I think we were like #4 or #5. Not that it made it any better to get punked by a Bob Davie ND team. Jim Herrmann, how could you be completely unprepared to face the option?
a decade later.
for both teams combined. also Utah throws on a deep play with 3 mins remaining just to stop the clock for Pitt on 2nd down. ugh.
AND THEN ON 3RD DOWN HE ALMOST RUNS OUT OF BOUNDS. GOOD GOD
AND THEN THEY PUNT TO THE 50 YD LINE. JESUS H
Lions losing 16-14 to the Bills at the start of the 4th after being smoked in the first half
Edit: LOL, Lions get held and give up a "TD" after tipping up a pass for no reason and the guy who gets held is hurt. Amazing
I was at the game, right by the end zone where he was hurt. He was held for a couple seconds and then after the throw somebody from Buffalo rolled over him. It was a huge hit.
Hawaii scores to keep it interesting. Well, at least until their defense gets on the field.
7-6!?
No. 6-3 USC at the moment.
this is gonna go to OT and then Pitt will win. dammit Utah, seriously?
I don't care what the score of this Southern Cal / Hawaii game ends up being, but I am confident in one observation from this game already: Southern Cal is going to have serious problems this year.
That, and Hawaii will make Michigan's pass defense look solid.
Pitt's in range for a long field goal. Everyone over to weird HD.
Edit: 1st and 10 from the 14 with 40 seconds left. Nice finish.
Pitt has gotten lucky with the refs not calling some borderline (albeit well called) groundings
Bob Davie: "There are still some good looking football players down there..."
It must have been very awkward to play for Bob Davie.
Pitt injures their RB on a garbage run. genius.
Lewis is injured?
Looks like it.
24-24
OT
Utah will lose
AND HE MISSED THE SECOND
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!
USC just blows down the field for another touchdown. I think we have found a defense that is worse that ours was last year. Hawaii's defense sucks.
I'm getting sick of this calling a timeout right before the snap of a kick. I know it's within the rules but it's just so obnoxious. So annoying.
Once is enough. Twice is overboard and should not be allowed.
they would have won.
also... this is the ad next to your comment
good for them
I sill have jitters from Asiata in '08.
the "impartial" (?) sideline down marker was jumping up and down after the INT. awesome.
Even if it is on Versus, I'd love to be able to see this game right now. Mostly just to shut my damn upstairs neighbors up. They have to be Pitt alumns.
It used be that Versus was only useful during hockey playoffs, but apparently I'm going to be forced to watch it now and then on Thursday nights now. I guess I shouldn't complain about having more options for watching college football.
If they can guarantee me I'll watch Pitt lose every week, I'll tune in.
Pitt gave up the game and almost won it still. wow. let's hope UConn plays sloppier
Yeah, Pitt's play tonight was not a shining example of "quality" Big East football. Or maybe it was. I guess we'll see.
Ya, and don't forget the gift turnovers that Utah gave them early in the game.
Pitt really dropped the ball on this one. Utah is a good team and a tough place to play, but Pitt gave them this game from the start.
Bob Davie is making a strong push for USC homer of the year...
So I just switched over to the USC game after Pitt-Utah ended. USC has gone for two-point conversions on all three touchdowns? WTF is up with that? Is Kiffin just being a jackass? I mean, even if they haven't settled on a kicker yet, you'd think this game would be a good time to audition one.
That's what I'm trying to figure out. Going off to find answers on the interwebs--hopefully.
The only thing I can think of so far is that he's found some football equivalent of tempo-free (Pomeroy, etc) stats that say that his expected point gain is higher by going for two every time, much like the theory that says that teams really ought not to punt much.
I'd be surprised if the above were actually true, and I don't think I'd want to give Kiffin the credit for being that "visionary." I'm going to stick with my theory that he's a pompous jackass.
Conquest Chronicles, SBNation's Trojan blog, has a lot of speculation on their open thread. The guess there is that he has exactly zero confidence in the kicker, but I like your theory better.
Maybe Monte is a visionary and told Lane to do it or he wouldn't get any ice cream after the game?
Hahaha, yeah, maybe. The idea that he has zero confidence in his kicker makes this whole situation seem backwards to me. If I had a kicker that needed work, I would think that his would be a perfect time to give it to him. Kick some gimme extra points against a team that you're going to blow out. I mean, if he's afraid to have his kicker attempt an extra point, does that mean they'll never attempt a field goal all season?
My new theory is that they're only carrying one place kicker and he came down with [insert amusing illness] right before/during the game. But that would again be giving Kiffin too much credit towards not being a douchebag, which I'm reluctant to do.
That's just ridiculously classless. Only him and Bob Stoops would stoop that low
My guess is that its another one of Kiffin's ploys to draw attention to his program.
Not that USC needs that right now, but at the beginning of the broadcast the sideline reporter said the Kiffin told her that the violations he committed at Tenn were part of his plan to make the program relevant.
Since violations at USC are not a good idea right not, I'm guessing that he's trying to find other ways to get his program talked about.
Kiffin told her that the violations he committed at Tenn were part of his plan to make the program relevant.
HEAD ASPLODE. HOLY FUCK. HOW DOES HE HAVE A HEAD COACHING JOB?!
Ah, Kiffin. You're going to be soooo popular.
He approaches the sport of football like a 13 year old approaches the video game of Madden.
With cheeto-encrusted fingers?
By this time I'm pretty sure he's given up on being popular.
On a really big stage.
It seems like Stanley Havili has been at USC forver.
Aargh, Pollard, catch the DAMN BALL. Get back in the game.
Nice. I pray for the upset here.
Anyone else just see the small yellow "U Suck Cheaters" sign front an center on national TV. I wish I could give that girl a high-five.
Well, it clearly wasn't the kicker. Solid extra point...
Hawaii is fucking awful, I don't think this can be overstated--especially on defense.
As my other theories continue to fall away, it's becoming more clear that we're left with the Kiffin's-a-Douchebag theory as the most likely. Occam's Razor.
On note of the USC game, I just want to point out that the first auto-response search that comes up when you begin to type "Lane Kiffin" into Google is "Lane Kiffin Wife."
If Hawaii can score here right before half this might be worth staying up for the second half.
Hawaii is hanging with them.....
Eh, I didn't need any sleep tonight anyways.
EDIT: Crap call! And crap hand signal!
Officials take a touchdown away from Hawaii. Once again even with replay they get obvious calls wrong.
It's amazing he doesn't appear to get half the bad press RR gets (or maybe its just that I don't see it).
When the reporter asks him "what have they figured out..." he replies "Nothing, they just figured out that we hit a guy late." and just comes across as a whiny person.
WAC commercial: nine universities working together. Might want to fix that.
It's way past time to retire Lou Holtz. I can't even understand what he's saying. The man needs a bib.
Every time I see one of these Dr. Lou segments, I am utterly shocked that someone is paying him to speak. It never ceases to blow my mind. Does anyone enjoy that?
I really think Kiffin may actually cry if USC loses this game. He looked like he was fighting tears when Hawaii was awarded that TD initially.
I will be so happy if Hawaii wins this by 1 point.
Aaaaaaaaaand this game is over
I hate hawaii's coach. So much.
What's with Hawaii's QBs all but sitting on their haunches when they take a snap from under center? Also, I'm really pleased to see USC's defense looking young and awful.
