Here is a picture of "Ale to the Victors" in the secondary fermenter. This will be ready to bottle in about 2 weeks. It will be ready to drink another 2 weeks after that. I can't wait!!!

...the Litres and Best?
What kind of ale are you aiming for? More of an IPA?
It's a cream ale actually. Made with a little bit of real maize! The color is more like that of Blue Moon, but the bottle makes it hard to see the color of it. I know it smells good though.
Are we going to cream the competition?
you ale had wings. Can I suggest a little yellow paint from the hardware store to dress up that fermenter?
That's a good idea..I may have to get a vinyl decal!
winged bottle caps. That would be next level.
Just doesn't have a good ring to it...
Pass me another Ale To The Victors and I'll think about it more!
Let me know if you need a taste tester :)
but 4 weeks and 1 day may not.
Well that's about 5 gallons of beer. Which comes out to just over 48 bottles. I don't think I'm drinking it all. I just want to perfect the recipe before the UConn game. Maybe we'll have to set up an MGoTasting...
My pops and I use to make wine. We have a different label every year, something unique, and I've convinced him to make this year's Maize and Blue with block lettering. Can't wait to drink to this new season, I'll post a pic once we've bottled it.
Are you in the AA area? GP is having their home bre contest on the 17th. Although you have to turn the beer in by the 10th which probably doesn't give you enough time to bottle. But ABC is having another contest over at the Coner in Ypsi 2 or 3 weeks later. Hope to taste it there
