OT: Fire on North Campus

Submitted by CRex on

Just say an alert get flashed out about a fire on North Campus, but no details.  Anyone up there know what is burning?

You can see smoke from the Med Center.  Rising off just to the left of the water tower.  It was a pretty darn big cloud and a bunch of fire trucks hauled up that way.  Smoke is petering out now.

I'm on North right now in Chrysler waiting for a review session to start and I did not see any smoke on my way in, nor has there been any kind of alarm or anything like that for us to get out.

The big fire is at the north campus research complex on the southeast orner of plymouth and huron pkwy. So not on the actual campus campus. It looks like one of the old pfizer buildings. A ton of smoke, hopefully everyones alright.

No worries, it's just the College of Engineering running the final tests of their plan on how to salvage the football season.  If there was only a way to prevent Troy Woolfolk or Mike Martin from injuring their ankles......
