OT: Fight night: Canelo v. Khan
Canelo/GGG will happen cinco de mayo weekend 2017 imho. Watching what GGG did to Lemieux then seeing what Lemieux did today makes me appreciate GGG more.
Canelo is a legitimate top ten P4P fighter; expect him to obliterate Khan.

As much as I think Canelo should walk through Khan, Canelo tends to struggle with guys who can really move in the ring. Canelo never seems to do a good job of cutting off the ring and getting guys in tight quarters where he does his best work. If Canelo allows Khan to use his hand speed and length while moving around the outside Canelo could end up looking a lot of rounds.
Prediction: Canelo (while behind on points) via stoppage in 10th round.
Khan holding his own the first two rounds.
Holy shit. That was brutal.

Canelo by KO in the 6th
Oof. That was rough to watch.
Can GGG/Cañelo get here, like, next week?

Ouch. Vicious KO.
Khan was getting some decent counters that round but man...what a shot.
To me until seeing that second slo mo video...damn he hit him hard
the shot and he's putting out his arms, "No,no,no,no" BOOM
What a right hand by Canelo. Played peek a boo and put Khan to sleep!

I actually thought Khan fared well the 1st few rounds but Canelo was just too strong for him.

I'm pretty sure they waited to show the replay. I think there was serious concern that dude was dead or comatose. They didn't show it again until he finally started moving.

My bad
But I am a bit concerned with his speed and movement. IMO he was clearly losing the fight before the KO. He needs to cut the ring better, jab more and mix it up with combinations. GGG is a much more complete fighter right now.
Canelo GGG would be an absolute slugfest.
Canelo has at least one mandatory title defense coming up before considering GGG so he has time.
I'm pretty sure that GGG is his mandatory. Canelo paid GGG step aside money to fight Khan. I mean Canelo could always just vacate his belt if he doesn't want to face Golovkin, so in the end it doesn't really matter.
of the fight because Canelonwould prefer to have a lot of big pay days at the top (like Mayweather) and will try to avoid a threat like GGG if he can.
These "top" fighters can't have it both ways...they claim GGG doesn't bring enough to the table because he hasn't fought anybody....but he hasn't fought anybody because these top fighters do not want a piece of GGG.
Hope Canelo/GGG happens...Can't wait to see GGG knock him out. That said...that was a hell of a lunch last night by Canelo.
Canelo lost the first two rounds. He started getting comfortable in the third and it was clear khan wasn't hurting him with his impressive combos. Canelo took control in the 3rd/4th and after that it was just a matter of time.

What was Khan doing with his hands? Jeeze, and this guy wants to fight Mayweather...
GGG will have a good run until they figure out what Russian performance enhancing agent he's taking
You have to give Khan credit for being fearless, but it was a dumb decision for him to do this fight. He and his glass chin jumped up two weight classes to fight a dude who was known as one of the hardest hitters in the division. I admire his moxie, but I think he's deluded by his own hype.
