This was at the Phi Rho medical "fraternity" house.  He was 25 yr old 4th year medical student.  An email went around yesterday afternoon from the Dean with his name, but I see the media isn't using it, so I won't put it here.  Prayers for him and his family.

He went to my undergrad, Grand Valley. So disappointing, he was just about to finish the hardest four years of his life. Bless him and his family during this difficult time. Why stuff like his happens to such young kids with so much potential, with the goal of helping others for the rest of his life is beyond my understanding.

My wife is a 4th year med student. So tragic for someone to lose their life right before they're about to reap the fruits of their labor, and with med school that labor was undoubtedly grueling. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
