OT: F*ck Lion Spotted in Wild?
So, my brother-in-law is currently teaching in Chengdu, China. Somewhat recently, he went to what appeared to be a semi-pro-ish football game with a couple friends. In his words...
First of all, there were maybe 50 people there in a soccer stadium that probably sat 10,000. Before the game, they asked one of my buddies if he wanted to help ref (since one of the refs didn't show), soley based on the fact that he was a white dude (which, in their opinion, obviously meant he was an American that was knowledgeable in the rules of football). Also, there was a GIANT dude on the team. I think somebody said he went to Michigan. Marques something? Here's a pic.
The legend continues.

A brilliant gem in the EDSBS comments someone posted as Jim Harbaugh - "I told you so"

I love everything about this thread. This is exactly the type of information that should be conveyed by the internet. I wouldn't get this info anywhere else. Mlive wouldn't dare touch this topic.
January 31st, 2017 at 12:59 PM ^
Actually, I could see MLive running with this on a slow day, but then the comments would go off on a tangent about how we can't recruit players like F*ck Lion and then onto marginalizing the career of F*ck Lion and then somone from RCMB would ring in and say "F*ck Michigan" and then it would descend into some void, the entrance to which was obscured by the ad for Varisty Ford.

First I didn't know who the Sklar brothers were, and now I have absolutely no idea what this thread title even means. This is not a good day for trying to feel all hip and trendy.

Lots of people seem to think they're funny. I have no idea why.

You know, the guys from the Burger King commercial.
January 31st, 2017 at 1:42 PM ^
They are the two guys that are arguing in the Burger King add. One thinks two Whopper meals is a better deal, the other thinks chicken nuggets. It's riveting stuff!

He's now (or at least was as of a year ago) a RB.
"The Dockers have reverted to a run-heavy offense, much like the rest of the league, and it has paid dividends for them, as Marques Slocum (ex Michigan Wolverine), just making the switch to running back weeks ago, is tough to bring down with just one or two defenders."

What. The. Hell. Slocum as a RB? This story keeps getting more interesting.
January 31st, 2017 at 12:21 PM ^
Even better, this past year they put him in as the QB:
"The Dockers switched to a wildcat offense, with Marques Slocum (#1) at the controls, but could not crack theTitans defense."

Love how Lloyd was allowed to aggressively persue this guy for two years without a single UM fan batting an eye but Rich Rod was crucified the minute he looked at Demar Dorsey.

I can't begin to tell you how dissapointed I am in the Chengdu Pandaman after clicking that link. Their team name is the Pandaman and their jerseys don't even look like giant pandas!

If you want to see what a former FBS defensive tackle playing RB in a Chinese football league looks like, he's the one with the ball on the right:

though I'm not a RB coach. Any expert opinions?
