OT- Favorite super bowl ads of all time
What are some of your favorite super bowl ads? Here is a couple of mine.

Love that Terry Tate ad...if anything he didn't hit those office slackers hard enough.

That Dorito commercial just now was pretty funny. I imagine "Jalen" acting exactly how Jalen Rose would have acted as a kid.

The kid disrespecting the adult reminded me of the very problem with parenting today. I think it would have been better if the kid would have just pulled the bowl away from the dude as he was reaching for a chip and then give him the 2 rules instead of slapping him in the face.

that letterman, oprah, leno commercial was great.

there is just something oddly funny about a beaver playing the violin

the Dodge Charger "Man's Last Stand" was awesome.

That one made me laugh a lot, but mainly because my (female) varsity field hockey coach drives a Charger, and my little sister really wants one.

The Mean Joe Greene Coke ad is a classic:
I read awhile ago that Greene had to slug down something like 27 bottles of Coke during the filming - and then he couldn't get his line out without burping.

gotta love the "Where were you then" commercial with Desmond striking the heisman pose.

was this one that was on tonight? / or is it an old ad?
February 7th, 2010 at 9:10 PM ^
New tonight as far as I can tell. Accidentally changed channels when I tried to rewind on on DVR to watch it again. Could not find it on Google so I assume it is new.

what's with all the commercials with guys not wearing pants this year? can't unsee . . .
February 8th, 2010 at 1:06 AM ^
..where their pants on the ground?
February 7th, 2010 at 10:14 PM ^
I loved the Google commercial, but I'm a sap.
February 7th, 2010 at 11:38 PM ^
It was really well done. The interesting part is that they segmented it across the country, you got a different airline flight search based on where you lived.
February 7th, 2010 at 10:49 PM ^
Waaaay too many pant-less guys and little people this year.
February 7th, 2010 at 10:56 PM ^
The google ad was my favorite as well.
The Dorito ads were kind of insulting. Hated the Audi "green police" ad.
February 7th, 2010 at 11:03 PM ^
were ridiculously stupid. I get going for lowbrow humor, but the least you can do is make them actually ... funny.
Also, how does GoDaddy.com have so much money to blow on Super Bowl commercials?
February 7th, 2010 at 11:03 PM ^
Why didn't they hit the "I'm Feeing Lucky" button on the last search? That would have been better, but great concept overall.
February 7th, 2010 at 11:04 PM ^
but the one where Desmond hits the pose would have to be the best.
It was brief, but clear.

Does someone have the company that sponsored this ad? I would like to watch it.
February 7th, 2010 at 11:22 PM ^
SB ads will be posted on CBSsports.com later. Don't recall who sponsored the ad but it aired just before half-time.
February 7th, 2010 at 11:40 PM ^
All the ads are on Hulu already. I don't remember what it was a commercial for though, I'll take a look at Hulu and maybe I can figure it out.
Edit: It was FloTV - Moments

That was the link, but I can't get it to play anymore, I'll see if I can find one that still works.
It's available here:

Thank you, Sir.
February 7th, 2010 at 11:39 PM ^
It was the one for the pocket TVs. Damned if I remember what they're actually called, but I know what they are.
February 7th, 2010 at 11:40 PM ^
The Etrade Milkaholic ad?
February 7th, 2010 at 11:40 PM ^
This classic has always been one of my favorites
February 8th, 2010 at 12:36 AM ^
Jim Nance made me laugh...he killed it on How I Met Your Mother last Monday too.

I thought the doritos samurai one this year was great, if only because they were in a gym, so I was expecting a big muscled guy to just come tackle them or whatever. The skinny dude in the doritos samurai armor was perfect.
