I've drank Pepsi my whole life, and I only discovered how good diet Mountain Dew's were about six years ago

Do they still make Squirt? I haven't had that since I was a kid. I remember drinking it when I went to the pool...

Nothing compares. A&W Root Beer is probably second; I think it's the vanilla they put in it...

And also wintergreen. That's the flavor in root beer that it's really hard to put your finger on but tastes so familiar.
April 28th, 2015 at 12:56 PM ^
Never knew that. Did synthesize wintergreen in orgo lab, though (along with making aspirin and distilling whiskey). It's amazing how smooth A&W is, though; it tastes awesome even when it's flat...

I tried peanuts in a Pepsi because I saw it on a southern cooking show. It was kinda weird but I think I'd try it again. The salt and sweet thing reminds me of my sister dipping french fries in her Wendys Smoothie.

There was this time I was driving on the highway in the middle of nowhere on the way to a meeting and I had aparently eaten something very unsettling. Thankfully, there was a rest area up ahead and the bathrooms were open. Ohhh, I read the question wrong?

I've always been a pretty big fan of RC, though I don't drink pop very much

Diet Mtn Dew or Diet Faygo Red Pop

I don't know that I've ever enjoyed a soda more than I enjoyed Live Wire in the summer of 2003.
I also used to chug Diet Pepsi Max when it was still out. Something about the mix of no sugar and high caffiene made it the perfect all-nighter fuel when I was an undergrad.
My all time favorite, though, has to be the Black Cherry Fresca. I can drink a 12-pack in a day, easy, without even thinking.

Diet Vernors (can find it now on Long Island . . . .)
Coke Zero

It was always the best week of boy scouts when someone would bring in the surge
Well then I have good news for you! They started selling it again on Amazon this year.
Hiii chunkums! *waves like an idiot*

Vernors for sure. Actually, I like in Mexico and when my parents came down to visit a couple of weeks ago I made them bring a couple of twelve packs. You can't get that stuff down here and I crave it like crazy. Also crave a decent pizza because the pizza where I live in Mexico sucks.

Dr Pepper all damn day every day. Or I would if that wouldn't make me disgustingly fat.
Vernors makes all other ginger ale taste like a watery mess. Root beer is great, A&W being the best. Faygo Red Pop and Rock'n'Rye are amazeballs. Cherry Pepsi is delicious too.
But Dr Pepper is the king of kings.

1) Tahitian Treat - http://www.amazon.com/TAHITIAN-TREAT-SODA-12-pks/dp/B0002IMRTC
2) Jolt Cola - All the sugar, twice the caffeine. (or something like that)
We always had Tahitian Treat in the basement fridge. It's so sweet that I don't know that I could drink it now, but man I loved that stuff.

But I also love to go to Taco Bell for Manzanita Sol and Mountain Dew Baja Blast (the green/blue one).
Barley Pop
Barq's Root Beer
Diet Coke with Lime (just add rum, instant ¡Cuba Libre!)
All diet, of course...
Spicy Ginger Soda
And The Original Vernor'S- I always loved redpop and rock n rye as a kid
Vernors. There is no other option.
Dr. Pepper...hands down
Like hell it is.
It's originally "soda pop" which makes "pop" the correct short form. Do you call a hot dog a "hot"?

Of course you can use a noun to describe another noun. SInce when is that a rule? You never said anything like "car door?" "Bedroom window"? "Your phone"? "Cat hair"? And wouldn't you sound silly saying things like "open the bedroom" or "vacuum the cat" when you really mean the window or the hair?
Ting which is from Jamaica. If you like squirt, you would love Ting. My other favorite was Josta by Pepsi. I used to love that stuff in the late 90's. Otherwise, a good root beer from a brewery, Goose Island, or Sprecher! Also, Polar Orange Dry from the East Coast.

Sprecher also makes a Hard Root Beer that is fantastic!!!
DR PEPPER
pretty sure it is semi addictive
That tasted wonderful on a hot summer day. Like a grape popsicle. Everyone in the family was addicted to it and then it was gone. To never be seen again!
1st place? Vernors, especially for highballs, or any stronger ginger beer I can find. 2nd place? Root beer, especially from Tahquamenon falls brewery. 3rd place? anything lemon-limey 4th place? Coke.
Honorable mention: Clearly Canadian
