OT: favorite / least favorite ESPN personality
My favorite is Stewat Scott, and I really have no idea why. He just doesnt annoy me.
And my least favorite is Buster Olney. I cant stand his voice when he talks.
I'm a pretty huge fan of Tony Reali. He has the easiest job at ESPN
mentioning of Desmond, the guy does a really solid job despite obvious biases, Tirico os solid as is Bob Knight when he decides to do games for them
Least favorite: Kirk Herbstreit especially when he tries to be a reporter, Pammy, and SVP... get over yourself man.
I'm a huge fan of Colin Cowherd, Scott Van Pelt and Chris Berman.
Stu Scott annoys the crap out of me.
Best - Wilbon (except he hates Michigan), runner up Van Pelt or Melrose
Worst - Cowherd, Rome, Scott and the entire cast of Around the Horn (minus paige when he is on) and any anchor on ESPN News
FAVORITE: Ron Franklin
LEAST FAVORITE: Mike Patrick, Chris Berman (tie)
Favorites: van pelt, tirico, bill simmons... I miss jason whitock and dan patrick
Least: pam ward, berman, stuart scott, wilbon, cowherd, rome, mariotti, woody paige, bill plaschke, kornheiser, Mike golic, mike greenberg, skip bayless, anytime drew sharp's ugly mug shows up, mike lupica, jamele hill... I'm sure there are more. ESPN sucks.
Pam Ward is by far the worst. It's apparent ESPN only has her to keep the feminists happy. She's so bad my 11 year old brother once corrected her on one of her many mistakes.
Like: Mike and Mike
Hate: Cowherd, what the hell is he going to talk about now? He can't blow USC and Pete Carrol every 5 min anymore. That dude can turn a coversation about peanut farming into how great SC is.
By far, my least favorite is the Master of the Obvious, Mr. Joe Morgan. He takes all the Sunday Night Baseball games to an unbearable level not even reached by Mr. Pam Ward. Oh, and I don't know if you've heard, but he's in the Hall of Fame. It's a shame he never mentions it on the air.
In no particular order
Worst: Jim Rome, Bill Plaschke, Colin Cowherd, Trevor Matich
Best: Erin Andrews, Michelle Beadle, Tony Kornheiser
Best: Kenny Mayne
Worst: Skip Bayless, the most annoying human being on the planet
Love to watch: Mike Tirico, Michael Wilbon, Erin Andrews, Cindy Brunson & Suzy Kolber
Want to see get hit by a bus: Dan LeBatard, Skip Bayless, Colin Cowherd, Tony Reali, for starters.
As much as I don't like Jim Rome, I just don't think anyone is worse than Pam Ward
Is Rob Parker still on 1st Take, or whatever that abortion of a show is called? Anyone who writes a column that starts with "Hank Aaron is a coward" automatically goes in the "Hit by a bus" pile.
I mean, right off the OP, Tirico, who lives (lived?) in Ann Arbor with his wife is a helluva nice guy. And really, all the great hate have been listed. Stuart Scott might lead my list, if anyone is making a tally...but there are so many. And then there's the whole "Erin Andrews" category. Along those lines-
I actually like Cowherd and listen to the Herd as much as possible. SVP is another favorite of mine.
Rome is horrible. On the radio he never says anything about sports and most of his time BSing with e-mails and saying stuff that makes very little sense. Plus there are the times when I think I lost the radio station because he doesn't talk and there's just silence.
Wut ever happened to Stump the Schaub? I fawkin hated that guy so much. What a douche.
Fave? Probably LINDA CONE BONE.
Faves: Scott Van Pelt, Adam Schefter, Josh Elliot
Least faves: Joe Morgan, John Kruk, Bill Plaschke
It appears that I'm late, but I'll add my 2 cents anyways.
Favorites: Chris Fowler (besides college football, I like his coverage of tennis), Reece Davis, John Anderson
Worst: The whole concept and everyone on Around the Horn, and (which is probably an unpopular pick, given all the comments above) Mike Tirico, who just rubs me the wrong way for some reason.
JeffB
Like: Scott Van Pelt, Jay Harris, Kornheiser, Rece Davis, Dat Dude, Desmond, Jalen
Dislike: John Saunders (for the brawl), Chris Berman (douche), Stu Scott (faux ghetto)
Hate: Cowherd, most of the Around the Horn crew, Jim Rome, Skip Bayless,
