OT: Favorite Blogs(besides MGoBlog)
I spend my whole day reading this one.
Yeah, I spend so much time on this one, and it's put together so well that it kinds of ruins other blogs for me. I've tried finding a Packers blog half as legit as this one and it never works out.
I would love a Packers blog as good as this one (preferably with the same sort of twisted humor) but I've never even dipped into the world of NFL blogs.
Come to think of it, I haven't the faintest idea how I found this one.
I thought this was a Heavens Gate chat room.
Eat the pudding........Marshall Applewhite says so!

Did the topic of blogs come up before or after you two had the "have you been tested" conversation?
Did the topic of blogs come up before or after you two had the "have you been tested" conversation?I'm not following you. Do you have a link to the conversation?(I post a lot here and I may have suffered some kind of memory loss?) I know that he posted a picture that linked to Hyperbole and a half which is what drew me to the website. This happened in a cake vs. pie discussion.
I think the comment may be in joking reference to an imagined relationship between yourself and Geaux Blue, in which you get tested for sexually transmitted diseases before engaging in congress, as well as perhaps before trading blog tips.
I was wondering why I just had a herpes test. Thanks for shedding light on the subject. Fuck I feel slow.
Your not gay...Geaux Blue sucks your dick.
Not anymore, MGoSexChange was a sucess.
It depends on what my latest hobby is. When I had my Mustang it was a few of the Stang sites. Now that I'm sold on Apple for my computing needs its the Mac forums most of the time. But I don't spend too much time in the forums like I used too. More important things in life.

Also, this doesn't really count as a blog reference, but I feel like following Cosma Shalizi's Delicious bookmarks makes me a better person:

+1 for marginalrevolution.com one of my favorites.

of matchfitusa.com also. I like Jason's podcast (American Soccer Show) if anyone's into that scene as well.

EDSBS and Doc Sat are really good, but I can't get into them during the offseason.
For any Cleveland sports fans out there Waiting for Next Year is a nice little blog.
A bunch of political stuff I won't name because: ugh, not here.
I love(d?) Hey Jenny Slater. Doug's currently job hunting and has nuked it from orbit til he finds employment again though.
Doc Sat/EDSBS for obvious reasons.
...the Midnight Maize midnight chats on Saturday nights. They are almost always pretty friendly, but you never know who is going to entertain us by "stirring the pot."
Dr. Saturday
Crossingwallstreet.com (financial stuff for when I'm a grown up- edit: now)
touchthebanner, even though it isn't every day- good stuff.
Perfect thread as I asked myself a valid question today: What happened to Awful Announcing? I used to really like that blog a lot but now it basically just lists TV schedules and there are NO stories at all. Site kinda sucks now.
blog I read consistenly is TalkingChop (Atlanta Braves). It's pretty good as far as baseball specific discussions and info, but the writing is very dry. Doesn't make me laugh 1/10 as much as MGoBlog.
Alpine race consulting's blog, it's basically a former U.S. ski team coach with excellent insight on world cup ski racing and how it works/is governed as well as ski racing in general
Honestly, I love Michigan football/sports blog sites (e.g. WLA, Touch the Banner, MnB, pretty much anything); however, I do occassionally look at other sports teams blogs. I'm trying to pick up an ACC team... preferably GaTech... But, maybe I'm biased, few blogs have the right blend of content that MGoBlog has (e.g. original, insightful content like UFR's, or other diary entries... as well as random Board content.)
blogs I visit regularly is really popular around here, (sarcasm intended) but I like the jerks at Wolverine Liberation Army. Where else can you get confused, insulted, mislead, made fun of, neg bombed and ghey hit on all in one sitting?. Seriously though, I laugh everytime I go there.
And I can see myself becoming a regular reader of "Hyperbole and a Half" thanks to Dark Blue.....

and of course all the MIIIIICH related blogs like WLA, UMHoops, The Wolverine Blog, MaizenBrew, MVictors, UMGoBlog. If you're a gamblin' man don't forget Jamie Mac's Just Cover. Doc Sat is required reading for any footbaw fan.

Gotta throw Dylan a shout out. He does a great job.
http://www.everydayshouldbesaturday.com -- the guy who writes it must be friends with Brian somehow, because Brian actually puts together the faux "leaderboard" for the Fulmer Cup standings each week. Michigan actually gets mentioned alot on there as well, and in a good way -- Orson (the fake name of the guy who writes the blog) is actually sympathetic with us for getting shit on by the local rags.
http://kissingsuzykolber.uproxx.com -- mostly an NFL blog, but you get a lot of other interesting stuff on there too (Thursday fantasy football/sex mailbag, Sexy Friday pics, fantasy drafts for highly random stuff). It's not always SFW so I have to read a lot of the stuff at home, but it's worth it. Highly cynical, and highly awesome.
Am I seriously the first person to suggest this blog?!
is a pretty good one.

Best sportswriter today, bar none.
Regardless of your political beliefs or lack thereof, Nate Silver is awesome. He developed PECOTA and wrote for Baseball Prospectus.
Brilliant blog, lots of interesting stuff.
