OT - Fantasy Start Sit Thread Week 6

Submitted by GVSUGoBlue on
Time to move on from yesterday. Bye weeks have hit me hard for this week's matchup. Believe it or not this is really my situation that I'm struggling with: Start 2 of the 3 - Andrew Luck (projected 19) vs NE, Peyton Manning (projected 17) @ CLE, or Blake Bortles (projected 16 ) vs Houston. Bortles went off last week and has been performing better than Manning. What do you have this week?

I have ODB starting this week, but probably wouldn't if my opponent were different. I have Maclin at flex and Edelman as my other 2 WR options. I could pop Melvin Gordon or Doug Baldwin at flex and sit ODB.

My opponent this week has the entire team made up of Colts. I'm serious. He scores between 35 and 85 points per week and is 1-4

I'd go with Luck and Manning, but see your case for Bortles. Both the Texans and Browns have been rather bad against the pass this year. I think Luck will start picking back up.

I also have Beckham; I think he'll play and be fine and also don't have a great back-up option, so I'm going with him.

My QB situation is not ideal -- choosing 1 of 3 between Newton (@Sea), Stafford (vs.Chi), and Mariota (vs.Mia). Currently leaning toward Mariota; no trust in Stafford at this point, and QB @Sea is asking for trouble. Could be talked out of it, though.

I have Luck and Bortles on my roster. I'm going with Bortles this week. I don't like Luck's matchup coming off of injury and I believe I read that Houston has given up the most passing yards this year.

I'm trying to decide if I should go with Justin Forsett (questionable with an ankle injury) or Demarco Murray (healthy, but questionable play all year until last week). Forsett has been very solid the last two weeks, but I don't know how much stock to put into his ankle injury. Supposedly the ankle injury isn't a high ankle injury, so I'm thinking he will play and I should just start him. Any thoughts?

My RB situation was especially bad earlier in the season when Bell was still suspended and Forsett and Murray we're doing absolutely nothing. Forsett has put up big numbers two weeks in a row, though, and Murray ran over 30 yards two weeks in a row...
