Not really my favorite style of music, but I have to say it's really well done. From checking out the guy's youtube channel it appears he's an 18 year old kid from Lapeer. I'd assume that the chorus vocalist is probably some girl he knows from high school or something. It's a very well done song though, and some of the lyrics are pretty powerful.
This kind of thing is why I love the internets. A kid from a small town can get a copy of Soundforge (or whatever) make a catchy beat, throw it up on youtube, and get a song stuck in your head for the rest of the day.
