“I’m more of a back-to-the-basket type of big man that rebounds a lot,” Swanigan said on Wednesday, describing his game. “I have a Zach Randolph type of game — that’s who I base my game off of. Being physical and playing with both hands on the rim.”

“He passes, he makes other guys better and he can score the ball as well. With that freshman adjustment, it’s all about how quickly you adjust to the speed of the game and the length of the players on the court,” Jordan said. “We know he has good vision and passing ability. Kids come in as freshmen like Trey and they don’t know what to say from a leadership standpoint, so they’re just listening and that’s where the other guys come in and show them the ropes.”

OT - Euro Quarterfinals - Portugal vs. Czech Republic

We're onto the knockout stage, which opens with the Czechs matching up with Portugal.

Will be curious to see if Ronaldo has found his international mojo or if it was just the result of a defeated Netherlands squad. Czechs steadily made their way through their group to advance.

For a' that, an' a' that,
Our toils obscure an' a' that,
The rank is but the guinea's stamp,
The man's the gowd for a' that.

Yellow to Nani was deserved....if for nothing more than his stupidity in actually trying to make a play right there.

Next yellow...not so sure

Portugal, Germany, Spain, Italy.

Which I think are relatively easy calls except for the last one.

When you think about it, Germany vs. Greece is an intriguing matchup politically.  "Psst.  Hey, you there.  Greece.  Nice bailout package you're getting.  Would be a shame to lose it.  I'd hate to see anything happen to it myself, but just to make sure, you might wanna think about laying it down in the second half.  You know how the boss hates to lose, and I don't think you wanna see him angry, myself."

This could theoretically happen in all three rounds, actually.

Don't be surprised if France gives Spain all it can handle.  People are jumping off their bandwagon now because of the Sweden game, but the French tend to play to the level of their competition.  In the last two years, France has beaten England, Brazil and Germany.
