I don't watch a much EPL at all, but do pay attention to international teams...what's up with Sterling? Whenever I watch England he's always playing, he's fast, he gets a ton of hype and I'm never really impressed with his performances. It's like he's a black hole that attacks disappear into. Isn't he making a crap ton of money from one of the biggest clubs out there?

He's with Man City now and they paid a lot for him. Sterling hasn't lived up to his potential yet which isn't unusual for 21 year old, but most 21 year old's aren't starting ahead of Jamie Vardy, Ross Barkley and Daniel Sturridge at the Euro's.

He's got a lot of talent but I can't believe he's starting over Vardy today.

or kingdoms that operate as a single political entity for most international purposes. The countries of England and Wales are united by an annexation of Wales into the kingdom of Great Britain which was formed after the conquering of Scotland by England (and the associated Acts of Union). The Kingdom of Northern Ireland has the same monarch as Great Britain, so the formal title of the soverign state is the 'United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland".

FIFA recognizes individual nations within a confederation or soverign state concept but not incorporated territories, hence England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland all having individual teams. The Olympic Commitee recognizes Soverign states and federated territories only, which is why Great Britain competes at the Olympics (not England), but Puerto Rico and the USVI are allowed separate Olympic teams from the main US team.

The United States of America is made up of 50 states, a District which hosts the Capital, and 16 territories, 5 inhabited (Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, Northern Marianas, and the Virgin Islands). All the inhabitants of which are considered to be American citizens, without full voting rights.

Much more convoluted.

This is less complicated than a country with 50 states and a few territories? You realize there are also counties in the UK as well as overseas territories and dependencies

The equivalent would like if Texas was a sovereign nation within the US and New England was a collection of countries that collectively was New England was additionally part of the USA

My computer at work has video blocked, so I can't watch the match. I saw a still shot of the supposed hand ball. Looked pretty clear cut to me, but what do those watching think?

They called a penalty on Bedoya in the USA-Colombia match for the same situation.  Either call ALL handballs or don't call the ones that are clearly unintentional.  Personally, I would call the one like just happened in this match and the Bedoya one, but not the one that happened in injury time in the Chile match (arm was bent with hand behind back).

I think Stu will get better, he just started in-game commentary.

I really can't stand Twellman. He's far too critical and unprofessional at times.

Another odd thing, with Fox coverage of Copa America, is that Brad Friedel is doing USMNT matches and he's a paid employee of US Soccer and the Under 20 coach. This seems very odd to me.
