OT: ESPN Mag + Insider deal

Submitted by FeelingBlue on

Hey y'all. Saw this deal online and figured I would post it on here in case anyone was looking to get Insider.

During checkout, enter promocode: "BLACKFRIDAY" and it will reduce the cost to $3.90 for a year subscription with the option to purchase 2 years. It says New Subscribers only.

I got one of these for $1 last year. They auto-renew and there is no way to cancel, so be aware.

Also, I never logged into the insider thing and the magazine was articles that are free on the web.

HOW DO I CANCEL MY INSIDER SUBSCRIPTION?

For the privacy and protection of your account, the account holder must call Customer Care at 1-888-549-ESPN (3776) between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. EST to cancel an Insider membership. We apologize for any inconvenience the phone call creates. The phone call will take just a few minutes of your time.

I don't think I've opened the magazine in about a year. I use it strictly for the Insider. I should probably call ESPN and ask if there is electronic option.

Insider is worth it for an article every once in a while.  And the Mag is OK bathroom reading.  C'mon you're talking about $4 for a YEAR.  That's like a Quarter Pounder.

I got this a couple years ago when someone posted a deal on here. Been getting the mag for 2 straight years now. I don't think I've ever actually read one. I've vaguely opened and looked inside and that's about it. ESPN is trash anymore.

Don't get why everyone here is always so negative about insider. Yea it's got some dud articles, but very how little you pay, there's also some good info it provides such as a boat load of fantasy material, Buster Onleys blog is always great, Keith law, good betting tips (will Harris). Magazine used to be crap back in the day but it's gotten a lot better.
