Mark May is great for ESPN, IMO. The guy is clearly a troll, so what he says on air obviously works because he gets so much reaction from the viewers. He is ESPN's version of a WWE heel. It's always good to have someone like that.

Putting Beth Mowins as an announcer is like placing a teenager into the presidency. Neither is qualified.

This makes me wonder that in the world of sports broadcast journalism, whether the job of co-host of College Football Final is considered to be prestigious enough that ESPN can't pull in anybody of higher caliber than Joey Galloway and Danny Kanell.  I mean is this considered to be a shit assignment at ESPN that pays lousy and doesn't get taken as serious as other hosting spots?

of bowl games makes it appear like a drubbing but sometimes its how teams match up, motivation, time between last game and bowl plus other intangibles. To me you have to earn the right to be in the game, otherwise why not let boise state play somebody on the blue turf for shear entertainment. this years playoff underscored that teams need to play more than one game to win a NC. it should be deserving teams earning the right to play in the NC game on the field and not pundits selecting their favorite team or coaches grandstanding to get into the game as meyer did that year.
