OT- ESPN Article on Dorial Green-Beckham
ESPN has posted a fantastic article about the nations top WR. After reading this article, i would absolutley love if he came to Michigan. That seems very unlikely, however, but this kids story is so impressive I'll be rooting for him no matter where he ends up

They are saying he is likely to stay close to home for his brother. They mentioned schools like Oklohoma, Texas, Alabama, and Auburn.

He has a top 6 right now - OU, Mizzou, Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn, and someone else I cannot seem to remember at this time. Anyway - that is what the announcers said during his game Saturday night.
Pretty accurate portrayal of Northwest Springfield, too. The best football player to come out of that town in the last 20 years was Seth Wand, who played D-2 ball and was drafted in the 3rd round by the Texans (he didn't stay in the NFL very long).

Beavis, are you from Missouri?
I only ask because I was born and raised in Saint Louis before making my way up to Ann Arbor for school.

Yes, born and raised in the DGB-area.

Thanks so much for posting.
As someone who has both fostered and adopted, had and still has many challenges, and has one football player, I appreciate this more than you might realize.

18 catches for 284 yards and 3 TD's in 1st game this season too.
He looks like the real deal on, and more importantly off the field.

18 catches in one game? Impressive at the high school level, even if many might be bubble screens, etc. (don't know if they are...just pure speculation that Green had a lot of YAC from this type of passing attack). I don't think my high school threw 18 times all year. Although that was 20+ years ago, and this gadget they call the "forward pass" just made it to our region when I was a teen.

He sounds like a great kid and a superb football player. I would love to see him come to Michigan, but I was really impressed by his adoptive parents. They're the real stars.

His tape looks like Calvin Johnson playing against high school kids.

His parents sound like awesome human beings. I'd love to see him come here, but that won't happen in all likelihood. He should be fun to watch for years to come though.
