OT: End of Weekend Drinking Thread
Another week and another month in the rearview. I'm enjoying some Bell's Best Brown Ale for the first time and it's quite tasty. Went to Munster, IN for my birthday just to have some of Three Floyds phenomenal beer. I would recommend that to anyone, although Founders and Bell's have better atmosphere, Three Floyds takes a back seat to no one when it comes to beer IMO, at least in the midwest. What's everyone else enjoying?

Speaking of Dr. Pepper. Watching Washington St. yesterday made me want to drink the manly Dr. Pepper 10.

Drinking a Thirsty Dog brewing company Barktoberfest. The only thing bad about this beer is that it is made in Ohio.

Where in Ohio?

in fact, the Brewmaster at Thirsty Dog used to be the Brewmaster for Great Lakes Brewery, but left in a dispte oer money and Thirsty Dog offered an ownership stake. Thirsty Dog's 12 Dogs of Christmas Ale gives Great Lakes Christmas Ale a run for its money, that is for certain. I am a fan of many of their brews besides their Christmas offering: Irish Setter Red, Twisted Kilt, and Old Leghumper, to name a few

I like the craft beers also; it makes my alcoholism seem like a socially accepted hobby.

Red Bull and a two liter of mountain dew, followed up likely by some coffee later...
It's going to be a late night in the library.

Not bad, but extremely run of the mill. Rocking out on the ipod and doing expenses.
Have run the gamut from Monster Magnet to Long Beach Dub All Stars, Toad the Wet Sprocket to Black Flag.

At least you can still spell and punctuate correctly, you must be early in the process or extremely lucky. Also, good luck with your Monday morning.

Enjoying a Bell's Amber Ale which is absolutely awesome while watching the SNF game. Earlier I had a New Belgium Trippel which was also quite good.

Drinking (not hating, but not enjoying) some Michelob Ultra . . . left by the weekend's guests. At least I'm not going to get drunk, right?

Damn it. This thread somehow convinced me to open a beer at 11:07pm on a Sunday night. Goose Island Harvest Ale.

I had Goose Island Pepe Nero, which is extremely good if you haven't tried it. Today I had Thirsty Dog Barktoberfest and a split a Goose Island Matilda. Both extremely good.

Not drinking anything last night because of work this morning but it will be nice to get back to my regular Friday routine of drinking at Ashley's this week. The last two weeks I have been busy on Saturday with work and taking out the boat/dock up at Higgins so I was not able to go out on Friday.
Hopefully Breakfast Stout comes on tap like it always does during the cold months and some other favorites show up. Backwoods Bastard would be nice but that usually doesn't hit bars until early November.

I live in GR and have already had plenty of Breakfast Stout and it is amazing.
