Good luck NY and Boston Wolverines!

Us in the DC area are only getting grazed; 2-4" laugh

For those still in Michigan; I95 corridor from NYC to Boston is looking at anywhere from 20-30" of snow from early Monday to Tuesday morning.

Same here.  Somebody has to look after the kids who will be off because a 10,000 pound bus can't be expected to move in 2" of snow.

Even though, I swear, they have the exact same busses in Chicago and Detroit.

I do think that the snow will be rough, but I guess I've lived here long enough to take a lot of this proclamations with a grain of salt.  I suspect there will be 12 inches, but 20-30 might be out in the boonies.

Yeah, I'm just speaking about NYC.  CT and LI seem to get super-hard with these storms.  But for some reason NYC either gets hit less or they get hit pretty hard and then people do dumb stuff like run in CP with 3 feet of snow hanging from tree branches and then complain when it falls on them, or try to drive 60 mph down the West Side highway while their wheels skate around.

I'm flying up to DC from Houston in the morning.  Wednesday I have to be at Fort Dix in NJ and I was planning on spending the weekend in NYC.  I love winter so I'm excited about it, although outdoor PT can be challenging.  Since I'm not going back to Germany this winter I take what I can get.  I guess the only concern I have is the drive to Dix Tuesday night.  It's around a 3 hr drive under normal conditions.

Neg away! Ha!

65 and sunny today in Portland, OR. I think we've only been below 32 a few days this winter. But if I want snow, I'm only an hour drive away from feet and feet of it on Mt Hood.
