The "big city endorsement" talking point is way overblown in today's internet era. Sure, it doesn't exactly hurt anything to move to a bigger market, but playing in NYC or LA is no longer necessary for an major athlete's brand.

Is getting a lot of hate on here. However, he is moving to clearly the best basketball situation for him no? The other options beside Golden State kind of sucked for him. I am bored of him also but he seemed to not prolong the pain here like last time and did not go for the headlines in la. He went to Houston...not your typical destination nba city. Seems like he should be getting some love for essentially spurning the league juggernaut in pursuit of success on the floor.

Dude is a headcase, I wouldn't want him anywhere near my team. LeBron got a lot of heat for "The Decision" but Dwight has now done this with two different teams. His mind doesn't change every day, now it changes every hour. I used to like Dwight, I can't stand the guy now.

He'll do fine in Houston, but if they don't get him some help defensively they'll still be a step behind other powers like SA, OKC, and Clippers.
Personally I think Howard stinks. He is one dimensional. Push him away from the hoop and he is useless. Guy can't hit a jump shot for the life of him.
