OT: (DVR Reminder) ESPN2 to air KHL Game 10/9
ESPN2 is airing the KHL game featuring Alexander Ovechkin's Dynamo team vs Lev. The game will air live at 1pm EST and be shown on tape delay at 8pm.
For those needing their hockey fix, this may be one way to get it. Also, IMO ESPN is using this to see if there is interest for more televised games, so a good viewer rating could lead to more games.

I watched a few online streams of KHL with Datsyuk's CSKA. But then I realized I watch Red Wings hockey for more than just the players. I watch it because of the atmosphere and Ken and Mick (and because they speak English).
I'm just gonna go to random NCAA and junior league games up here by the yoop until the NHL comes back.

If you are in the A2 area, then the Plymouth Whalers pretty close and are usually fun watch. I am going to miss watching Datsyuk, http://en.khl.ru/news/2012/10/04/24762.html.

Better than no hockey. Hope they pick up some more NCAA games as well.

Will there be English-speaking commentators or subtitles?
