So there is a population of people out there dictating their mgoposts into their phone?

Do people often dictate text into their phone?

Pretty much the only voice function I use is to tell Siri to remind me of something at X time.

Beyond whether you read or typed your post, did you THINK about it first?

Most of the time one of the girls from the typing pool just writes them for me based on a standard template.  However for the ones on sensitive issues they come in and I dictate them.

I usually just throw a handful of birdseed at my keyboard, and let a flock of pigeons peck away at the keyboard, until a well thought out post appears.

Sometimes when I want to really sleep soundly, I'll walk through my neighbor's garden to get to the butcher's shop which is usually closed at that time of night, so I went to the laundromat and there met the girl of my dreams. Sometimes.

I don't post.

The things you learn on the board these days.  I had no idea that I could save those 30-45 seconds wasted typing my words (like I am now) and instead RECITE these pearls of wisdom into my phone instead.

Now, given that anytime I use the voice feature on my phone the command "call Gordie" would be stated back "did you say order french fries?" then I'm sure my first attempt at reciting a post would resemble something posted by BRCE on a bad day.

What app do you use for this?

It's getting so you can't tell the crazy people from the sane anymore.  Is that guy walking around in front of the store talking to himself? Does he think he's communicating with aliens? Is he shaking his fist at god? Or is it just Gordie sending another missive to MGoBlog?

I proclaim my posts to my horde of stenographers. When I double post, it's because two of them tied.

I resight them.  Voice wreck ignition soft where is inker edible these daze.  Yew can hard lee tell the difference beet wean this and reel righting!

I recite my posts to my secretary and she types them.

I'll keep checking youtube & break for hilarious videos posted from random people videotaping you as you recite posts to your phone like a silly fool. 

As far as my own personal text input preferences, Swype is my jam. I can pretty much swype faster than I can type on a full size keyboard. Granted, I type like I'm all elbows, but I'm practically the Cortez f**king Peters of Swype.

That said, for quite a while now, the app on my android keeps crashing whenever I click post and I can't get anything to stick. Anyone else having problems?

I chisel my posts in granite.

I then take the tablet to this young guy who has this stuff he calls moveable typeface and puts it on paper. I then take the paper to this really hip young guy who works at a new place called Western Union. He telegraphs my post to a young whippersnapper who has a box that looks at the telegraph and converts it into, well, magic I guess, cause there is the post in the light box.

and then I open up a second-floor window and declaim them Shakespeare-style in a loud stentorian voice.
