OT: DJ Wilson M Jordans on eBay

Submitted by Nobody Likes a… on

So I had a quick look over at eBay hoping to find a pair of the Jordan 5 Michigan PE’s, no such luck. But what I did find was a couple pairs of DJ Wilsons B1G tournament shoes. Looks like someone is offloading a few pairs of his M worn shoes, including some shower sandals.

Christmas is coming and I know some of you like the 31 PE’s they were wearing last year. So if you’re a size 17, this is your chance.

A market for worn basketball shoes, from players other than All stars? Haveing asked this, I wouldn't buy anyones worn apparel, outside of a jersey that can be put in a frame to hang on the wall.

I was at a Tom Waits show a few years ago, and he told a story about strange things he bought on eBay.  His ultimate exemplar of odd items for sale was "Thomas Edison's dying breath" caught in a bottle stoppered with a cork.

The the eBay breath thing has been around for a while (to the extent you find Tom Waits - or me, for that matter - a reliable narrator).

your comment was meant to belittle WD because . . . reasons.

I guess I'm WD too then because I jump to his defense.  If your response to anyone who disagrees with you is "dismiss" then you won't listen to reason.

Whatever man.  Keep being annoying.

I went to a happy hour at a hotel restaurant bar near LAX this summer. The main attraction of the bar was a pair of Shaquille O'Neal's (supposedly) bronzed shoes encased in a glass display case. They were enormous. I felt like I could put my shoed foot inside his shoe with room to spare, and I wear a size 11 1/2.

was a distant cousin of Desmond Howard. We lived in California, he was given game worn cleats from he while he was at UM. My friend didn't know who he was, didn't care threw them on his bedroom floor for years. I said ill take them, nope. years later I asked about them, his grandpa tossed them thinking they were his old cleats.
