This is fascinating, not because of tired stereotypes about the South, but because a Madison Bumgarner dating a Madison Bumgarner isn't something Northern Exposure or Archer would have tried to get away with. Luckily, real life manages to be more interesting sometimes.
It would have been interesting to attempt to work this scenario into a "Northern Exposure" episode, although it probably would come at the cost of one of the Peabody Awards that the show won in its five years.
In any case, this is fantastic.
