annndd thhheee Tiiigers win!!!
...goes down swinging. Valverde earns the save by striking out the heart of the Yankees' order. Nice win for the TIgers.
...the Tigers seem to be back on track. Great way to start this series.
Wow this is only the 4th game where Austin Jackson hasn't had a hit. Nice to see him still contribute with an RBI
He is a rookie. Slumps will happen.
Man, that inning by Valverde was cool as hell to watch.
I'm a mental midget when it comes to putting pics here. I have no idea if that's going to come out right or not.
Depending on the version of firefox you have, you can actually drag and drop a picture between two tabs into the comment box and then resize it by dragging one of the corners in or out.
If all else fails switch to the plain text editor, use the html codes switch back and you can see if you did it correctly.
I'm sure others can explain this a better than I can.
EDIT: Now it's not letting me resize it like I just tried to explain, oh well.
A few days ago, I made a journal entry about wanting more homer broadcasts, where it wasn't a crime for the announcers to actually root for the home team. At one point, Perry went to a 3-1 count with men on in the 8th. Mario, in a slightly hushed tone, begins speaking directly to Perry instead of announcing.
"Don't give in to him. Do not give in. Come on! Quality pitch!" it was fantastic. He really wanted the Tigers to win!
...or was that the one WDIV used to open the games? Wasn't it the case that when the Tigers won, they outro'd the broadcast with the Tiger grabbing the opposing team's logo? I distinctly remember him doing that with the Jays or Orioles logo then spitting out feathers.
When they lost, the Tiger would have an ice pack on his head and bandages on his face. Of course in '84, we didn't see a lot of that outro.
My recollection is that the clip above was the postgame victory one (and the loss one was indeed the one where the tiger was bandaged up). I can't remember the one with the opposing logos.
Damn Yankees were spared a beat down in the rain this evening
Just like it is all about Denard; I told you people the Tigs would sweep the Yanks
Don't know how the Yanks are leading the league in hitting and stuff, they must have run into some awful pitching, cuz that lineup is not good
