OT: DB sighting? Brazil (allegedly) contracts out natl team roster
Straight out of DB's handbook for the unmitigated corporatization of athletic competition, comes a story so brazen it should be true, even if it isnt. So some Brazilian media is reporting that Brazil's football federation contracted away -- to foreigners, no less -- the rights to put players on the national team, contractually promising that marketability, not actually winning, is the main goal.

It doesn't fully explain that 7-1 debacle, but, it's a start.
Jokes aside, this is absolutely ridiculous that these FAs can do something like this. Brazilian soccer is basically akin to FIFA corruption on a national level.
I guess that's not that the end of the world if just for friendlies... but if they do that for Copa America or the World Cup, that's beyond idiotic.
I was hoping for an actual pic of DB in Brazil. One where he's all disheveled and looking like a broken man. Remember that one of Romney pumping his own gas after the election? Something like that.
