If a thread asking what the line would be if the OSU game was teleported back in time to today can stand I certainly think one dedicated to historical events AND your mom's birthday should be allowed to stay up too.

My mom passed away five years ago.  I miss my mom.

On this date in 1953 Les Miles was born. Unacceptable for you not to include this OP. To think you call yourself "The_Mad_Hatter!" The nerve!

It's not Michigan, but I believe this is the 31st anniversary of a game between Maryland and Miami in which Bobby Ross wisely replaced Stan Gelbaugh with Frank Reich to start the second half (I mean, down 31-0 as he was, what else can go wrong, right?). Reich then proceeded to be instrumental in bringing Maryland all the way back for the 42-40 win and be part of what was at the time the largest comeback in NCAA football history.

Nine years later, Reich would more or less repeat the performance in a Bills uniform.

Why do I remember?  Because it's also the birthday of my first girlfriend, in high school.  My birthday's the same as Elizabeth Taylor's.  (At the time we thought that was cool.)

Of course, that was 40 years ago.  I haven't talked to her since.  Today as previously, I tried to contact her via email and her Facebook page.  She won't reply.  She lives in Ann Arbor.  If you see her, could you ask her why?  I don't mind if everybody else knows.

Thanks.
