OT - Day 21 - Movember: MGo for the Finish Line Against Prostate/Testicular Cancer

Submitted by boliver46 on

Hi All!

Day 21 and things are GROWING well!  We've already surpassed our goal of $500.00 (currently at $519.00).  Let's keep the numbers GROWING and try to hit a new goal of $750.00.

Donations are still needed for this important charity with the goal of increasing awareness and elimination of Prostate, Colo-Rectal, and Testicular Cancer.  As further incentive - looks like OHIO is doing this as well (Link).

Please join us in the fight by growing your moustache for the month of November, or simply donate to our MGoBlog team by going here: Movember Link

Current team members or those supporting the cause are encouraged to post progress pictures of their amazing moustaches!

Thank you all!

Movember (the month formerly known as November) is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for men's health. Donations are collected and distributed among various areas of support including: Awareness and Education, Living With and Beyond Cancer, Staying Mentally Healthy Living With and Beyond Mental Illness, and Cancer Research.

<Donate to Me> is a way to contribute directly to the Movember cause, but is allocated to a specific team member vs. donated to the team as a whole. There is no difference in how the money is distributed or handled as it all goes directly to the Movember charity.

My moustache is growing on me.  Literally and figuratively.  Wifey has the hedge clippers set to autopilot on December 1st though.

Can't wait to get rid of mine. The novelty has definitely worn off. My wife's one stipulation for this was I shave before family comes over on Thanksgiving so I'll done a few days early. I think I'm going to set a donation goal to hit before I shave it because I have more mo haters than people that like it.
